That is so very interesting about the cat hair! Thank you for helping people who have cat allergies. I've heard of people saving cat and dog hair and putting it outside for the birds to use for nest.

I have a question for you. I have an unknown Short hair cat. Last year I shaved her belly and private parts. The hair has still not grown back. She appears to be 100% healthy. What could be the reasoning that the hair has not grown back?

If the hair growth has not come back, that’s often a sign of thyroid issues, diabetes, bacterial infection of the skin. I usually tell cat parents to make a vet visit even if it’s not bothering the cat. It could be something internally. Cats are notorious for hiding illness.
