Hi Everyone! I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed the walk! Some of you have noticed that Bobcat has developed a slight limp recently - we’ve been treating it with some anti inflammatories and pain killers. If it persists we’ll be sure to have it scanned at the vet. Exercise is good for it so the walk is a good thing. Keep you posted. Hope you like the teaser for our short film at the end of the video - a project that means a lot to me. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Aging is not pleasent for everyone... So good pain killers and inflammatories help many of us, people and animals! You know how to take care of Bobcat in the best way possible as for all animals at the sanctuary🥰 You are the best❣

Soo sweet to see Bobcat and Gabby marking the same tree. They definitely needed their enrichment walk. Bobcat and Gabby look fantastic for 16 years old! I can't wait to see the film, I believe all of us, your members, care about the lions' survival! I've thought about our impact since I was a child. Our humanity is also measured in how we treat all the animals we share our planet with. Good luck with the film festival! Bobcat is a sweetheart, he wants to help exercise the hyenas (which clan was it?). 😄Soo amazing, seeing Bobcat stalking through the tall grass, and Gabby is beautiful girl walking with Kevin. Sorry Gabby, you didn't get the tires today (those are pricy). 🥰😍🦁🦁💞❣

So sorry to learn about Bobcat’s limp and pain. Suffering from arthritis, I know how walking with pain is no fun… Of course, I know, you’re talking good care of him and all the other furry friends in your care🙏🏻 Stunning to see beautifully he is aging, getting such a dark mane and he black on his hind legs. Lions are lucky to look even more amazing with aging❤️ I know, not all lions do… That’s one of the advantages of not having to face competitors. Just like for example the gorgeous male lion at Amakhala… Gaby of course is very beautiful too. Shouldn’t forget about that nice lady❤️Looking forward to your short film! I hope there’s never gonna be a time we have to talk about “The Last Lion”. It’s shameful as it is right now… But of course we cannot give up hope and keep on fighting for wildlife on this wonderful planet we call home🙏🏻❤️🐾

And all the other cat species awesome animals I know that in Russia President Putin has protected the tiger the Siberian tiger I also believe that in India there are sanctuaries to protect tigers and leopards

Your connection with these lions and all you do for the animals is simply so amazing. I stumbled over these videos a while ago and now I'm absolutely addicted to watching them every day. Wonderful video of Gabby and Bobcat. The trailer of your film at the end made me cry and really touched me and made me think about our world and what we are doing to it in the name of progress!!! Gorgeous Bobcat is the epitome of what most people think of when they think of lions (imho) so of course you would use him for your film as he is the Lion King Himself🦁. And um I think we need to start a fundraiser to buy Gabbylicious the tire terminator some tires of her own😄

Been watching when that top geezer was struggling keeping the old place going but i remember the big move and all the volunteers and rhe lion thor who just wanted be on his own and the bush fire, i just dont message but i am because id like to give alot of respect to you and your team,and obviously all the animals you take care off,Meg and Amy together were brilliant such characters.Congrats on 8million.

Loved seeing Bobcat and Gabby out for a walk. This film looks impactful hopefully it will gain support and become widely broadcast, people don't realise how fragile habitat can be and the devastation of losing it. We humans are not invulnerable, we are in grave danger of loss of habitat for our species too. I read many species are lost everyday most unbeknown to the average human, people are not seeing the changes and arrogance that we can save the planet is the normal mantra. The planet will still be hear long after our species disappear, I applaud your efforts to heighten awareness just wish wish people would wake up and smell the coffee.

Bobcat and Gabby! Just what the doctor ordered, thanks Kevin. I'm looking forward to watching the film on Monday, I think my grandchildren may also be watching with me. Although the very thought of the bush going silent is, quite frankly, unbearable. When I visited the Kruger back in '82, one of the things that lodged in my memory was the sound, especially at night. We simply must not let the silence descend.

I've followed you since 2009 Kevin, I should've become a member much sooner. But at least I have something to add to my year of the lion! 😁 Can't wait for the short film! Also I'm curious to know; have you ever heard the story of Christian the lion? And do you know about Dean Schneider and his Lion rehabilitation facility
