Another remake! And this one deserves an explanation... your first thought might be why Lady and Tramp are being played by two separate characters per movie. Well, I just think it would be weird as heck if we had teen/young adult Kion mouthing off to cub Simba being so close in age to him come the second movie(not to mention just plain disturbing if you really think about it) and like, i like to think the first movie involves Lady and Tramp in their young adulthood when they’re still spry and eager and learning things. Then the sequel comes around and then they’re older and obviously more mature and wise. All the more reason to change up the cast a little bit. But since Lady and Tramp don’t have kids at the end of the live action remake, I don’t feel the need to do the same(unless there’s a sequel). And uh... yeah... seemingly human Nia from Xenoblade 2 as Live Action Jock... believe me, I’m as iffy about this as you are. Normally, humanistic characters as animals are a big nono for me in spoofs. But I think I can make a case for her for being just as feline as she is human, it helps that Jock herself was already pretty anthromporphized in the remake, and I don’t recall her ever doing anything especially “Doggish” so... loopholes? I just thought she fit a lot, alright? Not much else to say other than that, hope you enjoy!
