Lion Rock Hike: from Wong Tai Sin and back

If there's one hike you must do in Hong Kong, it's the Lion Rock hike. It's the most distinctive mountain in Kowloon with an almost 360-degree panorama of Kowloon Peninsula all the way to Hong Kong Island and north towards Shatin as well. It's a popular sunset spot and great for night hikes - and here's my favourite way to hike it.

Thanks for the video and the guide....will be heading to Hong Kong on this mid-Dec and will do hiking for 2 day. Do people still do hiking in Dec?....I hope I am not crazy doing the hiking on cold season 😅😅😅

I went today but i took the left turn before the first staircase instead of going up via the road! It was scary! No steps/ stairs at all. Not sure if it is in fact one of the possible routes though 😧

That explains why i didn’t see a single human while hiking up and down lol. Luckily i managed to capture a scenic shot at least! Wish i saw your video before going though!
