some people say ronaldo is because he can score different types of goals but thats wrong. ronaldo maybe the most complete "goalscorer (attacker) " but messi is the most complete player. messi can score,assist,dribble,long passing,vision,.....etc.

naaah. he's more complete than cristiano as a matter of fact, but the most complete ever? he lacks good and strong long shots, headers, and i'd say also basic skills which are not too fancy but can be hella useful too, let's say like rabona for example, never seen him do that. one of the reasons why pelé still is up for debate as the arguably best ever is because he was the most complete.

This man has elevated his game to a whole new level. I can see him being in the ballon d'or top 3 for the next 6-7 years. Ozil and Messi have the best vision in the game easily. He will go down as the greatest player of all times.

To think all of this is in one season, and one that hasn't even finished yet, is remarkable. It shows why Messi is the best playmaker in the world. For a lot of players, this would be a career highlights video and even then it might not have such quality clips like these! I do feel though Alba and Suarez seem to waste a lot of his passes and if they were more clinical, Messi would be on far more assists. In fact, seeing him on just 12 feels quite harsh on him, the Celta Vigo game alone he must have created 4-5 clear cut chances, only one of which was taken by Neymar.

+Jeffrey Fan Not since he returned from injury, but since the start of the season. I think he is trying to mix long passes with short passes and aerial passes with ground passes in order to confuse the opponents and make him more unpredictable.
