He was also a lot better for the national team especially in 02 ---> 8 goals (2 in final) But Ronaldo apparently said that Messi was the best and had him in his all time 11. That says everything

@Arindam Das he is neutral, it's not like he's rooting for Barcelona, but when you see a player do stuff like that if you have passion for what you're commentating it's obvious to say this stuff, they do it in tennis too when Federer/Nadal/S.Williams are playing, if it is a legend playing there's not reason not to praise him/her. I don't even like football, i just watch Barca matches or highlights because Messi exists.

Remember the name Lionel Messi. They've all played this game, Zidane, Raul, the real Ronaldo, Rivelino, Pele, Puskas, Di Stefano, George Best, Johan Cryuff, Diego Maradonna, they are all getting outshone by this little modest humble man. He nets against all comers, he can walk on water. They talk about the strength of the Premier League, that it's the best league in the world, but this little man could beat every single one of them, he would have all their players, the whole squad, the manager, the owners and their entire fanbase running scared even the kitman is petrified and doesn't want to come in when Messi is coming. He's not world class, he's better than that, he's Messi class. You're just lost for words. He's beyond words. He's the GOAT

No way, Ronaldo is way more complete, he can score with both feet, head like no one, pass, defend. Messi is better at dribbling and creating his own opportunities or bring some danger, but doesn't like to help defending, I just don't understand how people can't be honest with that. Ronaldo is extremely good at heading the ball and dispatching penalties but those are probably the only 2 areas he beats Messi on. Messi beats him in all other areas.

It seems Rob Palmer told prophecies and facts about Messi. Everything he says about Messi seems to be spot on. Quotes like, "remember the name..." On his first goal and "where would Barcelona be without Lionel Messi..." seems to prove that. The one commentary I love the most is when he said, "That's Messi class... it's above World class."
