Maybe someone should tell Messi that this can be changed but not before his teammate Suarez stops flopping all over the field. I love Messi but I was at the game on Saturday, Suarez's behavior was over the top by diving everytime hr was touched.. That is why I never respected him.
So basically a player gets injured, and he is punished? The side committing the offence can play with the 11 men (unless red card) but the victim has to wait outside? How about sending the guy committing the foul out temporarily as well when the victim need medical treatment?
"would have" what the hell is "would of"? it seems that this is some kind of new plague on the internet, and maybe you aren't even aware that it's wrong because a lot of other people write that as well, but it's like a prick in the eye. If English is not your native language, please know that "would of" is wrong, regardless of the number of times you've (*) seen it. If it's your native language, please act accordingly. * note that I have written you've (you have). Imagine if people started using "you of" instead. It's the same
It has to be at the ref's discretion, not a blanket rule. The ref should only apply the penalty (cause that's what it is) if he/she thinks it's a delay tactic. It's not difficult. Sure, it puts some pressure on the refs to interpret things accurately, but it's no different than issuing a yellow card for diving.
Two tweaks that I’d like to see. Rule doesn’t apply to teams that are trailing. Rule only applies in the second half. They’ve already implemented this in MLS Next Pro, and it’s worked out well.
