Has no reason to be playing like that and he does it week in and week out. When people try to belittle his ability it’s always hilarious. Assists he got you! Goals he got you! Neither he’s building up the play from the back! He creates games and it’s always harder to argue he isn’t the best ability, stat, and achievement wise.

@@mmamultiverse75 Well whole Argentina team played very well. They all are on another level. They are showing people "Why they are best team on the planet right now" (Obviously to those who said Messi FIFA boy and WC as rigged).
You also need to know when to step down, he decided he achieved everything and he left Europe not as old and rusty player, but as the best player. That's real greatness
He has singlehandedly elevated a nobody league (MLS) and he hasn't started playing there yet. I'm already planning on getting Apple TV so I can watch the games live.
@@noobmaster31what’s interesting is that MLS sent the 6th most players to WC out of all leagues. It’s getting better. I live in USA, don’t watch all the time but it has gotten better. Not Europe, but not Saudi Arabia either. Top 10 league in the world I’d say, close anyway.

@@rod2274 maybe but that’s an assumption and I believe as long as we follow the commandments and read his word we will have eternal life and as Christian’s we believe he died on the cross for our sins and I think he’d love that we believe in him and his word maybe he’d disagree with a few things but I think he’s so merciful and good that no matter what he will always love us and forgive us
When he's in the mood especially with Argentina, Messi becomes the ultimate superstar in world sport!... When I was a little kid, only Diego Maradona and Michael Jordan have reached that type status of supremacy, and Messi has been doing it for almost 15 years now (give or take)... Today was a showcase of what he can do at the age of 35!!! Mind Blowing...
@osama omar I know God/"Allah"/Jesus more than you'll ever know him, thanks. Even in your own religion; Jesus (Isa) was the only person in human history, who was born without a father, the only person who went-risen to heaven directly, and the only person (or prophet according to your Quran/beliefs) will come back to earth again!... Just ask yourself why its him, and not Muhammed or any other prophet! (No disrespect to you or to all the muslim brethren here), but I studied Islam when I was a kid as well, so please don't educate me here, and I strongly urge you to educate yourself well enough first before professing to others! BTW, Messi also has a tattoo of Jesus on his shoulder. ;-)
Messi has been active for over 15 years but no way has been like that always. He's had very bad years. There's only one that has reach an even higher status than the ones you mentioned and that's Pele!
That 78th minute dribble 🥰🥰 my god just out of this world..he is about 36 and still mesmerizes us with his game...we love you Messi❤❤ You are the best..no one can replace you...plz play the 2026 WC.. atleast for the fans who loves you the most ❤❤you are the God for us...🐐🐐👑👑💙🤍🇦🇷🇦🇷

At his age, he won’t cover that much of ground tirelessly. But he is clearly still capable shaking of 3 or 4 defenders with graceful pace. What a genius and it makes 😢 just to think one day he will retire from the football. There is no one, no one can play football with such entertaining and yet effectiveness like Messi.
He could literally play for 2 more years in Europe and still be on top of the table. But yea, its better to leave when in prime. I wanna see him raise one more Copa. Then I can die peacefully.
Nah I doubt Messi will be on the top of the table goal scorer even if he still play in Europe for the next 2 years. Did you just ignore the growing influence of Halaand, the goal machine robot in Manchester City and their collective teamwork will surely make Haaland the next top scorer in the Europe. Messi choose retirement life in America because he knows he cannot compete with Haaland. Messi knew it's time for new generation to emerge.
@@Nightdreaux22647haha Messi is not concerned with competing with Haaland! Haaland is a fox in the box kind, tap ins type! Messi is the most complete player the world has ever seen. Period. He is moving out because he wanted Barca or none. He says that clearly in his interview. Btw, Messi's total goal contributions this season is still unreal! Top 3 in the 5 top European leagues.
@@Nightdreaux22647 messi doesn't care about any players. He only wants to achieve for his team and country. On the contrary it is other players who want to compete with messi and score more than him to prove they r the best, which non of them are able to better him. Because messi is total football, not only goals scoring.
Messi Messi Messi how many times has he done this?! We got so used to this! It’s just heartbreaking to think his so close to retirement! Messi with Argentina shirt is like complete beast mode activate! Just pure joy! He has so much to give! So sad he is moving to MLS! But hope he continues that fire for Argentina to another worldcup! Vamos!
You can just tell he wasnt enjoying psg. At Argentina it shows how great he is and still at the age of 36 (soon) can still do crazy things. When he dribbled through those 3 players it was a prime definition of why we fell inlove with him
35 year old and he's still one of the very best playing the beautiful game. That signature 77th minute dribbling in a phone-box... How the hell does he do that? I can't even do what he does in real life on a gaming console on professional mode. Just simple dribbling invokes strong emotions and goosebumps. The great Thierry Henry was so right, Leo is a freak. We will never ever see someone like him again on or off the pitch. A God that never asked to be worshipped deserves to be worshipped to me. Gracias por todo Leo. You are genuinely something else entirely. 💙❤☝️🙄☝️💙❤

@@ynfo949 Lol. Ronaldo fans are shameless trying to talk about missed opportunities. Ronaldo takes 6.43 shot for 1 goal while messi takes 5.27 shot for 1 goal. And ronaldo doesn't even creates that much chances compared to messi. Messi has 408 big chances created against ronaldo's 176 and 1387 key passes against ronaldo's 911. Even in this match messi created lot's of chances. So if anyone deserves to miss shot in a match it's messi not ronaldo. So stop crying. And don't bother to ask where ronaldo came from in this conversation. It's obvious that you are a ronaldo fan hating on messi who had a great match( which ronaldo didn't had in the last 3-4years).
If he wants he can still compete in 2026 Work Cup and easily win the Golden Ball.He could easily play untill his mid 40's.This man unbelievable. There will never be another like him and it's an absolute honour and a privilege to be able to witness him play. The 👽 the 🐐
Watching everything Messi did in the WC still brings me at awe Montiel's successful penalty was the peak of football because Messi won the world cup. Many people I know wherever they were bowed down to the GOAT
I understand why he left Europe but it's so painful 😂. Leo still got it. He doesn't have his blistering pace, but his skills are still unmatched. No other player even comes close. Messi has always been in a class of his own.
After this fabulous third goal against Croatia in the World Cup, his performance in the World Cup at 35 years old and this fabulous goal at almost 36 years old against a revengeful Australian team; the 8th Ballon d'Or for Messi is without a doubt.
Unpopular opinion:messi at 35-36 is a better dribbler than United Ronaldo. Also, this performance would have been in career top 10 for most world class players. For Messi, it's not even top 100
I don't know if I care to watch much. Not interested in Mbappe or Haaland. I do like Kvicha, the phenomenal Georgian tho. I like KDB and Alvarez, McAllister too.
PSG didn't know how to use him. They made him second fiddle to Mbappe, of all pple. Somebody wrote, they had a machine gun but they preferred to throw stones. Stupidest club in the world.
The roars, the love, the LDS leo derangement syndrome (in a positive way) ... Messi has capture the love of the whole world. (except people of france and Brasil). No other player of any sport has ever done that!!!

I've been watching football since the Pelé, Best, Cruyff, Maradona, R9, Zidane, Dinho, Cristiano, era's. Messi's the best ball runner-controller, I've seen & it's not even close. He can go fast- slow, slow-fast, at knots speeeds, while twisting-turning in zero spaces, the naked eye can hardly spot. Modern defenders approach & press in groups of 2 to 4 & he still skins them. Even at the remarkable age of near 36. That in itself, is mind blowing.
@@AJP321 Mate. Everything Maradona did in free style abbreviations. Pelé did before him. I watched both when they played. Plus, Pelé's left & right foot usage where near parallel. And his heading, incredible, with an Air Jordaneque leap. Pelé was the better all round player. In fact: He's the most complete player I've ever seen, in terms of complete attributes. He had everything! What what i find most incredible about Messi. Is his ball playing skills right up into his mid 30s, are still near intact from his early 20s, to still do it at world cup winning levels. I've honestly never seen a player retain that kind of polished eliteness for that long.
Forget his goals. Instead of goals and dribbling, see how beautifully he give through passes. Expect a miracle anytime when Messi have the ball.... 36 year old man who never gets old.
