I didn’t see police assaulting Brazilian fans. This was an attack on Argentinian fans. FIFA should take action on this assault. Brazil should not be allowed to play the next World Cup!

Lionel Messi did the right thing to marshal his troops out of the field. This invariably made the Brazilian Riot police and their Fans to think again about their hooliganistic ways of handling the situation and thus calm down the temperature and ease the violent behavior of a particular group from escalating out of control. The thing that started it all was the disrespect of a section of the fans in booing the Argentine National Anthem & I am very happy that the game was won by Argentina deservedly despite the Brazilian players resorting to crude tackles in trying to disrupt the smooth flow of the game and reigniting the sparks of negativity in spirit. I really hope that they will learn the lesson through the hard way and hope that there will be no retaliation by the Argentine Fans and Police when Brazil visit Buenos Aries in the return game in due time. Bravo Messi u have all that quality not only to be the Captain of your team but the entire Nation perhaps one fine day.

Karma hit Brazil and their stupid police officers when Argentina and their fans walked away with a victory for their country. I'm ashamed that they had to act in this manner. There's too much violence at the soccer match and it really shouldn't have happened. The Brazilian police were being too disruptive to the Argentina fans until their leader Messi and the rest of the team stood up for them. As a Brazilian, I'm really sorry for what happened and I'm also ashamed of it because the police went after the Argentinians and instead of separating the fight between both without favoring one side, the police should have been very neutral about this. It's sad because there were children there, both Argentine and Brazilian. CBF is also to blame for this because they mixed the AR with the BR, which clearly wouldn't work considering the rivalry that the fans have! I also don't agree with these police attitudes because it could have hurt children and the elderlyand I'm even more disappointed by the fact that the Brazilian players didn't do anything about it, unlike the Argentine players who did something and it's sad that as a Brazilian I apologize for the delay.
