Being following Messi for over 15 years and this literally made me cried because i remember all the stuff he went through in 2010 , 2014,2018 he really deserves that title and the super balon d’ or
After many defeats and setbacks in recent years. Messi to lead his team to victory at the World Cup at 35 years old ... God, I thought this only happens in the movies.
I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 but after Argentina eliminated us I started to encourage them and Messi and also because I didn't like the idea that France would win the World Cup again, the French are quite conceited congratulations messi🐐👑 🤝🇳🇱
@@user-vi1tx Wow I'm surprised smb from the NL wanted our team to win the WC. I thought you hated us lol. We finally did it it was super hard till the last second!
Seeing Messi FINALLY win the most coveted award along with his countrymen has been the highlight of my year. It feels like I achieved something too simply by being around to witness the Greatest Player of All Time (and my favorite player, a role model) win.
@@ElSanSiroErikku i think it came out that Messi is 100% planning to play in copa America. I think if he wins copa America he will then try to go for 2026 but only if he wins
Messi's talent is so magnificent that moved 70% of us brazilians (me included) to root for Argentina just because of him. And we're archi-rivals as you all know.
@@naktak9227 Brothers and sisters are the best rivals. Like Australia and New Zealand. I'm from New Zealand, and our big sibling is Australia. As with any siblings, we compete with each other, but we stand together against threats from outside .
Messi's story with football is a movie..Messi continued chasing his dream and playing with passion until the end of his football life..I think if Messi achieved it in 2014, he wouldn't be so glowing until 2022..as if it were a story written until he reached 35 years old and ends with the most beautiful event
Messi, a Barca traitor or Legend? Messi came to Barca as a 13 y.o. boy. With Xavi and Iniesta, they won everything from 2005-2011. Barca is a registered association and every supporters love Messi. Barca had the list of club history super stars (eg Maradona, Hagi, Ronaldo and Rivaldo etc) , yet they also want to have their own legendary product, the home grown legend, and Messi was the one. Thus Barca maintain the squads based on Messi's playing style. After both Xavi and Iniesta left Barca, Barca got lots of big money signings. However unable to find new replacement of the Age of Golden Midfielders (Xavi and Iniesta), Barca no longer the same level as it was be. As a homemade legend at Barca, Messi has every power above the club. Neymar knows it at Barca, even they both are good friends he still could only play around Messi, thus Neymar left for PSG. Barca had great debt long ago, in 2012-13 season Messi's fixed wage rose to €13 million after tax, with 10 million of incentives. Barca' La Masia was once good at developing home grown players. However as the club builds around Messi, Barca trends to buy star players to suit Messi's playing style. Messi has all the speaking power at Barca, is nothing a secret (He had conflicts with several Barca coaches). Once teammate of Messi, Eric Abidal at the time as Barca's director of football, publicly stated that some players not working hard enough. Messi then opened fires on him, asking Abidal to speak out who's the players. 2014 World Cup was a disappointment for Messi's Argentina team, losing the final. The following final defeat at Copa America upset Messi alot, announced to quit the national team for the first time (Messi forced the national coach Martino to step down as well. Martino was fired after a bad season at Barca in 2014 whom then went on coaching the Argentine team.) Then during the pandemic after the shock 8-2 defeat to Bayern (15th August), Messi once again want to quit the team, this time with his beloved team, Barca. Eric Abidal also resigned following the Champion League defeat. Well, from this moment most Barca supporters still believe Barca has poor management that makes Messi want to leave, but this is not the truth! Real Zaragoza fail to promote to La Liga due to their top striker loan ended, harming their playoff match performance. And this happen at 5th August. Real Zaragoza even tried to sue the Spanish FA. Messi then on 25th August made publicly he was betrayed by the president, lies about he could go a year prior to his contract ends. Barca then claims that the agreement already expired at June. Well, well, well. By noticing the Real Zaragoza case, Messi clearly misleading the public by saying he WAS BETRAYED. Messi was just trying to make up the reason for leaving Barca. And clearly he was upset by the Bayern defeat. Why? As matter of the fact, he could leave for free at June which he didn't, because he knows he got no reason to grab for jumping ship so suddenly. Messi knows he would be accused as traitor, and all his contributions at Barca would become no acknowledgment. Messi had history of tax evasion, had his Dad working as his agent. When being accused for tax evasion, his dad stated Messi learns nothing as he's always the one who's handling Messi's financial matters. Messi's Dad is not a fool, does anyone believe Jorge Messi can't figure out when's the contract end? If Messi is loyal to Barca, Jorge Messi could renew contract for Messi during the entire year, not after Messi become a free player nor after the La Liga salary cap reformed. Messi had too much power at Barca. Laporta once says, KEEPING MESSI COULD HAVE MADE BARCA AT RISK FOR THE NEXT 50 YEARS. The club president Bartomeu and Eric Abidal resigned, Aguero signed. For keeping Messi, Barca does everything. Barca makes Messi a legend, and Messi put Barca at risk of bankruptcy. ⠠⠇⠕⠇⠁⠀⠠⠍⠽⠇⠥⠧⠀⠈⠯⠀⠠⠝⠁⠹⠁⠇⠽⠀⠠⠡⠻⠊⠑
@@user-wu7ew8yb3w If we still remember the past, should notice that Messi had conflicts with several Barca coaches. Thus realizing that Messi left Barca all for money and his own success.
I am from Argentina and let me tell you that this was the game in which I have suffered the most in my entire life. When Mbappe scored the second goal, creepy flashbacks went through my head. The World Cup in Brazil was very depressing for us. At the end of the game, when Montiel scored the decisive goal, those flashbacks returned to my head again, but this time it wasn't seen as a simple probability. Now it was just a vague memory that was gradually falling apart through my memories. Seeing Messi lift the cup was epic, glorious, exciting and I am sure that this extreme happiness will never be repeated, even if we win the next World Cup.
Since 1986 Germany loss to Argentina , biggest rival & threat to Argentina are Germany 🇩🇪 1990 ,2006,2010,2014 if Germany wouldn't fall in thier knock out game Argentina must had more trophies now.
@@bretagnejean2410 So what? Do you think that Argentina pays FIFA to fix the matches in our favor? Bro, this country is in ruins, we are literally a second Venezuela. How the hell do you think Argentina would buy something as important as the World Cup?

Messi’s career is so inspirational, winning the World Cup is the perfect way to close the book of his story. Although I’m Australian, I was along side Argentina. Messi is a true inspiration.
Literally almost had a anxiety attack because I woke up late and the game was around minute 65ish when I started watching I was so nervous Turning the tv on 😅😂

Damn his whole life is a movie. A talented boy from a small town to a great Player. who went close to achieving his dream but failed But finally at the end he succeed and he return home as a Champion. The last match was a Rollercoaster of Emotion and at the end Messi has done it
It really was like a movie. I even cried like a child when Mbappe scored the second goal because I had 2014 flashbacks of Messi being so close and then the trophy snatched away when Götze scored. I was even like, " God hasn't brought Messi this far only to snatch the prize away a second time. Messi will win this even if this game ends in shootouts." Thank God, Messi finally did. It was such a magnificent journey to complete his epic and legendary career. His losses in the past happened for a reason. I'm glad that Messi ackowledged that and he learned so much from it. He came back stronger, more mature, and more confident. He was a man on a mission.
Messi dawned in the gold and black bisht image while raising the World Cup trophy will go down as one of the greatest moments in the history of sports and football! Thank you Argentina and Messi!

Messi has the highest levels of perseverance and resilience. It's not only about the physical training but also the mental strength. Imagine losing 3 international finals in a row and quitting your national team, getting mocked and criticized by your own people and then coming back, winning Finalissima and Copa America and then ultimately winning the most prestigious trophy THE WORLD CUP by giving an all star performance in every Knock out stage of the Tournament and winning the Golden Ball. This makes me so emotional! All the tragic endings from the 2006 to 2018 World Cup were displayed, but Argentina finally won the World Cup after 36 years!
