YES, it's October 2020 and this song is still fresh ... soothing to the spirit. JESUS IS MY PEACE!!! HE ... HE sees, hears and is the answer to all troubles that come our way. Blessings to singer, his household and all who are still enjoying this song,
I will worship the Lord, For He is worthy; I will lay down my sword, The Prince Of Peace is His name. King of the flood, The Lord is mighty; The Lord can quench the evil flame. Peace when trouble blows, Jehovah sees, Jehovah knows; He is my peace, when sorrow nears, Jehovah sees, Jehovah hears. Feel the presence of God, Upon the water, Hear the voice of the Lord, Within the thunder that rolls, King of the flood, The Lord is mighty, The Lord can calm the troubled soul. Peace when trouble blows, Jehovah sees, Jehovah knows; He is my peace, when sorrow nears, Jehovah sees, Jehovah hears Like the breath, I need to live, Jehovah takes, Jehovah gives; Gives me peace, When trouble blows, Jehovah sees, Jehovah knows. Judgement coming, He is my peace; Men pursue me, He is my peace. Judge! Judgement is coming, He is my peace; War may follow, He is my peace
As we mourn his death from today, we are comforted that this song is one of the greatest gifts he is leaving us with. Lionel has been such a gift to us. He poured his heart out in every song he sang. May his soul rest in peace.
I hadn't heard that Brother Lionel had gone home to heaven. 😢 Jesus used this album - and especially this song - to hold me together when I left a church/cult back in '93 and didn't know how to go on. He was my Peace through it all!!! I still have the cassette tape and, every now and then, throw it in the one deck I can trust to not eat it for lunch, the one in my car.
I'm in so much tears!!! Thank you Jesus for You are my peace. Thank you Jesus for You will quench the evil flame in Nigeria, Africa and all over the world.
You say he is no more? Indeed we praise God that he is alive through this soul soothing song. Yes Angels must have been around but rather the Holy Spirit inspired the singing, even the whole team as well as the audience

2020 and this song speaks deep into my soul.. Listened to it growing up and its a song that cuts across generations and seasons.one that will still be ministering more years to come.. He is my peace, peace that surpasses all understanding
So glad the Holy Spirit led me to this song. It's been a long time since I heard it. It's so appropriate now that the Lord is having me share that "He is running soon". Those that know Him and keep His commandments will have "PEACE". ❤
