Wheel slip on Steam Engines normally happens at start up. It may slip several times but best to my knowledge, not after the train is in normal motion. Thanks for watching

@@Joestrainworld They do slip in motion, it all really depends on track conditions, locomotive conditions, and weather conditions. Along with other things.

Yes I did. There was a round head screw on the switch motor. I removed it, now the steps glide over the Switch Motors.

I had the same problem with the SD50 at our club . Did the same to fix , also had to bend the wire actuator to clear also.
