Lionel Weathered FasTrack 10 x 5 Layout 

I did this to my ho scale Kato unitrack and it really does add a nice touch of realism. Nice work!

After watching this I may have to consider painting my Fastrack rails!

I find it is better to leave the center rail silver, The reason is because it reflects the crossties and when looking at it the 3rd Middle rail does not stand out.. Weather the outside rails with rail brown and then come back and dry brush rust over the rail brown for the most realistic color... Then add ballast on the sides of the roadbed and it will look great! I started doing this around 4 years ago..

Maybe it's my phone but that weathered Fastrack looked very orange to me other than that a great video. I especially like 5 by 10 layout cuz I used to ping pong tables end-to-end which is 5 by 18 good stuff I hope it's just my phone that made the rails look orange look forward to more videos thank you

How many Lionel FasTrack Curve Tracks and Lionel FasTrack Straight Tracks does it needs to create a Figure 8 Track layout along using with the the Lionel Graduated Trestle Set?🚂

I love the layout especially the customise painting work that you did for the tracks. The resvese loop is an excellent idea for a small layout like this. please could you share the layout plan of which fastback you have used. is it O36 for the inside track that includes the reverse loop and the outer track it is O48 curve. many thanks

I really hate my fast track. Even doing all of this and it's like putting a dress on a pig. If I didn't have thousands of dollars worth of fast track, at prices from 10 years ago, I would start over. You have a nice layout design.

I like the look a lot, do you think running the trains so fast contributes to the level of noise? They are much quieter toward the end of the video running at a slower speed. Do you have the track mounted directly to the plywood?

I did this one's to my fast track and regret it I had to buy all new track because the power cannot go through

I am doing a layout with Fast track on a 8x10, Have to ask are u using a turf Build for the crass scenery our is it painted on myself I am using the Turf build and yes Fast Track is Noisy when I do my inner loop I will more than Likely go back to the 0.27 gage...
