the lioness didn't watch her cub being eaten. When she went away the leopard stole the cub and took it to a tree out of the lionesses sight. Remember lions including females are bigger and stronger than leopards so they are not going to sit by watch their cubs being killed.
Even if the lioness find the leopard eating her cub, she won't kill the Leopard, instead there would be a great fight which would force the lioness to retreat due to her cowardice.

There is no way a lioness would just sit and watch as a leopard killed her cub. She would do everything she could to climb that tree and save her cub. Don't be fooled by this crap.
I hv watched the real one before. It has been edited. The leopard indeed caught the cub and climbed the tree, but the mother chased the leopard and followed it to the tree. They struggled and both fell. The lioness had advantage over the leopard as they fought. Along the line the leopard appeared to be lifeless. So when the lioness relaxed, the leopard got up and runned from the lioness. There was blood all over the loepard. The Cub died though. This is where the editing came. The cub was indeed in the gaws of the leopard at the beginning. But another scene was inserted when it was eating it. Meaning the leopard eating on the tree and the lioness under the tree are different episode. There are instances when lions wait under trees watching leopards as they eat on trees. But in an instance of rage, lions climb trees.

Почему они должны были помешать охоте? А если львица на антилопу будет охотиться, люди тоже должны вмешаться? Ведь у антилопы тоже семья, её тоже жалко. Это естественный процесс, нечего человеку в него лезть. Всех спасти невозможно.

Life is very brutal. I have watched lions eating buffalo calves and the buffalo can do nothing about and I felt very sorry for the mother buffalo. Here the lioness has to watch as it baby is being eaten. But that leopard will pay the price, lions never forgive

The lioness couldn't do anything about it. Lions are not able to climb trees. That's how leopards are able to escape from them when a lion chases them. I've seen videos of this, where a lioness is chasing a leopard that then climbs up a tree and the lioness stops and doesn't even try to climb.

Anyone here that believes this has no clue whatsoever about the two cats. A Lioness chases a Leopard even when the Leopard isn’t bothering it, and you think it will sit back and watch the Leopard kill its cub? There are articles of Lionesses killing Crocodiles for trying to go after their cubs… and you think a Leopard would just sit there and get away with it? A Lioness would’ve even attacked a Tiger if it did the same. Might not have killed it, but it would never sit back and watch.

@@projectr2451 lioness can't kill the Leopard alone. It needs a backup. One lioness is only good in chasing the leopard but it retreats when the leopard fight back.

This is sad, but I have to remember how many babies are eaten by lions. The same with Grizzly bears. They are always eating baby moose, baby buffaloes, wolf pups, etc. But they won’t even show any films when baby buffaloes are taken or eaten. This lion cub must have been fed very well, because its stomach looks full and chubby.

I saw one where a lioness adapted a baby antelope and Was so sad when he went hunting and found her not there .she searched the entire savanna but she wasn't there.she was so hurt .the baby antelope had her maternal mama come for her
