I would like to hear what happened to Misfit also, but I don't think anyone really knows. I remember a comment on a previous video mentioning that he was expelled from the pride when he reached maturity as always happens with the young males. I don't know if anyone was successful in tracking him. He may be out there somewhere living as a coalition member. I don't recall whether his older brother was expelled with him or not. From what we saw of Misfit, he has the personality and intelligence and caution to make it as an adult male lion. I can't picture him rushing into a dangerous situation before checking things out thoroughly. It would be great to have an accurate update on Misfit but considering the vastness of the land these lions occupy it may not be possible. I have faith in Misfit. His intelligence and careful approach to things may be the two qualities that will keep him alive long enough to become a pride male.

@@emtharlan7201 misfit did leave with his older brother and that’s the last I heard of him. I so want to know how he’s doing. That little lion grabbed my heart.

@@corrimahanible8165 no lionesses cannot take down giraffes and Cake buffalos by themselves. You're right the male lion delivers the death below and it is usually one or two that take down the large prey females are simply not big enough to take down a giraffe it takes the extreme power of the Males. Females have never knocked a cape buffalo off his feet or a giraffe it's always the Males. Some males have even single-handedly killed a young adult hippo. He who greets with fire killed a hippopotamus

@@repsol118 you can find some of it on Amazon but you gotta pay for it. It used to be on RU-vid. It’s originally from Smithsonian. Maybe try to look them up. It’s really good and really heartbreaking too. There’s seems not shown on these clips, like when they attack the Hollywood pride and kill her daughter and the pride runs away & leaves her but her mother comes back and drops her head in submission to save her daughter. They leave her and mom ends up leaving also and she dies there in her own alone. I was balling crying weeping over that. I never seen a lion do that and I wanted her to stay with her daughter until she died. But I guess the wild is cruel and not like a human would think and do.

​@@Leokat334 Yes, it seems so tragic, really. And thank you for sharing about this incident in the documentary, bc now I won't see it,for sure. I just can't bear that kind of thing anymore. But if it's any comfort to you, in my experience, animals prefer to die alone anyway. I've known many domestic cats to disappear when they know their time is near. They never choose to stay close.😢♥️

True! This video was several years ago. It was from another channel and the uploader of this video just reupload it and make another channel. Spotty died long time ago.

Perhaps there are those new to the channel, and others that may have missed previous clips..
