You explained what I’m going through perfectly. I’ve been in this cycle for 7 years I’ve finally given in to medication I can’t take it no more.

I don’t want to leave the house, but I have to go to school... every time my Mother makes me leave for the bus, I’m always so scared. I don’t know why. I mean, they’re just people! They aren’t going to hurt me. But for some reason, I’m terrified about the outside world. I can’t wait for summer. I’m going to stay inside my room the entire break, and I won’t leave for any other reason other than some stupid reason my Mom wants me to come. I’m scared in school. To give you a visual, I’m 13 and I’m in the seventh grade. I absolutely hate it. Everyone there hates me. I only have two friends, and they don’t even know how scared I am of them. I’m scared of my friends!! I’m scared of the teachers, or the police, of my own parents... I’m scared of everyone, and I feel like I’m annoying to them. I haven’t seen a doctor or a therapist about this, but I’m positive I have depression and social anxiety. I don’t think highly of myself, and I’m scared of everyone. I could make a 20 page essay of what I feel, but I don’t have that time. If you’re still reading, I appreciate it. I don’t know why you’re still here tbh. But... thanks.

I'm so sorry :( Is it safe to talk to your mom or some other family member and tell them exactly what you said here? Or a school counselor? You would be surprised at how many people feel the same way. Try to open up and talk about it. Take deep breaths several times a day, every day. Eat healthy--try to stay away from sugar, processed foods, caffeine, especially energy drinks. Get enough sleep at night, stay off social media as much as possible. Look up meditation videos on RU-vid. Keep a gratitude Journal. Look up Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping.) Maybe ask your parents to help you pick out a multivitamin. Make sure you drink enough water, get out in the sunshine as much as possible, take brisk walks or do something active. Cuddle your pet if you have one. Stay connected to other people and fight the urge to isolate. I'm rooting for you!

Your not alone my family is over rn , im hungry and thirsty but im too scared to go get it id know im just scared they might call me out and put me on scene or.judt stare at me im scared 😔

I was reading till the end cause ...I can some how relate to it ....I was always not like that but from past 1yr I m feeling the same way as u r ....at first I thought I was going insane , I don’t have control over my mind,my brain..but now I think I m depressed....n this is all because a year ago I changed my school n now I have no friends ,was not able to make any friend in my new school ....n now I think m a weirdo I like to stay at my home for long period of time n hate going outside...cause I feel like people r staring at me or noticing my activities all the time whenever I get out of my house .... Hey , if u r reading this pls reply....😐

Omg! I so can relate on the feeling on being scared and is like why?When you are in certain situations including going outside to do task such as shopping dealing with places with alot of people is my phobia and feeling irrated when I'm doing certain tasks and eyes are glued starring at me as if I'm some Weird Artwork from a gallery.

This is exactly what I'm going through! I am a musician who has been writing the same way due to not working with anyone sure to my depression. THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this! This helped me so much! I needed the hope this video gave me!

Eversince i was 14 turning 15 i stayed at home , i started leaving when i turned 17 and i was so uncomfortable, that depression cycle is crazy and i think i need to get help because my mind bro there's something wrong

Clinical depression is what I have. there is no "why". You guys are lucky that you know the problem then it can be solved. The ONLY thing that helps CD is meds.

Ah, there's always a reason. No matter how seemingly big or small. It's not your fault. I tend to invalidate my "why's" because I don't think they're big enough compared to others so I keep them to myself. Chose to figure out the reason why you're depressed later on, but for right now, chose to focus on the sole undeniable fact that you are sad. Something went wrong down the line, and it affected you. That's it. You are not to blame.
