The LH9 series use S&W 5900 series magazines and the LH9C uses the 6900 series magazine. I found the straight back compact model to push the rear part of the grip frame into the bottom part of my palm during long range sessions.
I knew the range experience was going to be great. I wish there was a way to decrease the regular double-action pull weight, but having the double-action plus makes it unnecessarily. Would you feel good carrying it the “plus” mode? I know I would. A very underrated pistol.
She's a runner. Good ive had one for a awhile good pistols. Like the new stuff with the from the holster draw. Best place tp practice drawing is at the ramge incase of an accident.
Hey loved the review, picked me up one of these not too long ago. In your opinion, do you think you could carry one of these in double action + without the safety on as long as the trigger was safety covered?
We often hear of people who will holster our pistols in DA+ with the safety on, then snap it off immediately after holstering. They seem to like the extra safety during the holstering process (generally the most dangerous part) and also like to not have to worry about flicking it off on a quick draw. Only concern with this method is that if you ever were to forget to put the safety off, and had to draw under pressure, you would have a serious problem when the pistol didn't fire due to the safety still being on. Hope this all helps!
