The Rongai lion pride were waiting for a buffalo herd to move and when they did an injured youngster was left behind, one lioness was quick to pounce and the whole pride was fed!
Possibly the lions had injured the buffalo earlier and that is how they knew to wait for the herd to leave
Filmed In The Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

About Rob The Ranger Wildlife Videos:
The purpose of the channel is to show what it is like to experience seeing wild animals on an African safari. Nature Documentaries are often highly edited to tell a story, wildlife safaris are not, and the idea here is to show the wildlife sightings the way they were seen. Safari tours in Africa are generally suitable for all ages and this channel can be considered an educational channel about incredible nature, some scenes in the nature videos may be more graphic than people are used to but this is the reality of nature and is what you would see if you were present on such a safari in person. Safaris in Kenya, South Africa, or any other African country are an unrivalled experience for anyone with a passion for nature, wildlife photography, and travel. Hopefully the animal videos on this channel can provide a glimpse into what the nature experience is like and encourage more people to take a wildlife safari one day. Make sure to subscribe and enable ALL notifications!

King is like " uhhh,, what are you doing there? I will show you how it's done" and flips the whole dang buffalo upside down front its neck with such ease. Really showing the true strength of a male lion. Also, looked like it hasn't had a meal for a week

BRM is my favorite. I love Dark mane he no longer here. Now it is BRM great hunting enjoyed. However Rob everyone presume that olobar is the dominant. I feel the same they are all equal.

Is this the pride with the subadult Olenkera everyone loves? I watch so many videos I sometimes get confused with the prides. I know I had seen in some groups where he was thought to be kicked out of the pride, but was recently found? I couldn't tell, but I hope he was there and was able to get some food.

A large pride of lions hunting in the middle of the day with male lions present is a rare sighting.

So lesson of the day kids, buffaloes are vegetarian and lions meat eaters. Sooner or later one has to eat the others.

Another great wildlife video from Mr Rob. The thing I love about Mr Rob wildlife videos is he doesn’t put music on his videos and unlike Safari live he doesn’t talk bunch of nonsense nonstop. Mr Rob gives short useful explanation about the Animals, and then he stays Quite and lets the audience enjoy the watching/ hearing Animals in their natural habitat.Thank u Mr Rob for sharing ur country’s wildlife with the whole world please keep up the good work 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
