Did anyone happen to see each of the Chiefs front line talking to, congratulating, giving encouragement to Hutchinson who on his own, kept Mahomes on his back feet the whole game. Never got him but man, he was on his 6 the entire game. So cool to watch Danna giving his long props after the final whistle.

I almost can't believe what I saw. Lions had a few instances where they could've folded like usual..but just kept grinding. This squad has a different feel and mindset. Don't care KC was missing 2 dudes. Playing the Champs at their house on national tv is a tall order. Im so very proud of them.🏈🦁🔥

As much as a lot of Chiefs fans are going to want to say that Branch's pick was "a gift" or "a gimme," even if Toney caught that ball, Branch was on angle and was ready to drop the hit stick on him. Branch actually reacted incredibly to that ball, and that not something any DB in the NFL would have been able to do with anything resembling reliability.

Dang the Chicago Bears and Poles gave up a excellent running back David Montgomery, team player, versatile RB player who will do anything to get the win for the team. Montgomery saved the day and got the last touchdown to seal their 1at season game for the Lions. The Lions fans I feel will see lots of passes from Goff to Montgomery to get the ball down the field to the end zone plays. He is a reliable, huge team player with a huge fight in him to win for the team. Miss him Chicago and Poles? Congrats to see Montgomery succeed with his new team. He is a great player deserves lots of credit for getting the win over KC which he knows the rivalry in the NFL that everyone wants to beat KC chiefs and time for new teams to get the media talks over KC. This was a great win for Lions and Montgomery.

Raymond ran wild in the secondary in this game and Goff almost never looked his way... hopefully they highlight that in the game film and reflect on the fact that Raymond was #1 in the ENTIRE league last year in separation on his routes... that kid knows something about how to shake DB's, and we need to use that to our advantage, esp while we wait for Jamo to return (again).

Born in Pontiac and raised in Waterford/Pontiac/and Eastpointe so I’m Michigan through and through, played hockey for 16 years and set records as a right winger so I had my Red Wings growing up in the mid to late 90s and the 2002 and 2008 wins but I’ve always been a Lion fan as well. Too many Michiganders switching up in this state it’s crazy. Some of us literally get made fun of for staying a lions fan. I have a brand new lions hoodie that I haven’t worn yet but even if it’s warm tomorrow I’m rocking it. I didn’t even know they were opening the season tonight I found out from a coworker (who is a Chiefs fan and bet a few other guys and lost like $200 on this game) and yea, we know it’s just one game but it’s literally the Chiefs…super bowl champs..in their house so the win is big for us. I always follow the season and can’t wait to see if we can finally make it beyond one game in the playoffs. And possibly win the division. Used to be worried about the Packers and Vikings, now it’s time for the Lions and Bears to battle it out!!
