Michael does not yet have an official release date. Shooting for the biopic will reportedly start this year. Jaafar Jackson (Michael’s nephew) is said to take on the role of the King of Pop.

Editing Journey:
It is an honor to make a Michael Jackson dream movie trailer. As a big fan of MJ this is a treat. Michael Jackson film is the type that would be successful like the Bohemian Rhapsody film because of how well know he is. The editing process of trailer 3 was much more smooth. Similarly I begin the video by teasing the appearance of MJ without showing his face. Since this is a story about the legendary MJ we need to hear his music so I made sure to showcase some of that. This was the main challenge of the trailer because sound mixing is not exactly my talent. Fortunately I was able to make it work and the final result turn out to be good. Similarly from trailer 2 I brought Samuel L Jackson as Joe Jackson Michael’s father, and also Chris Tucker playing himself as MJ’s best friend.
As a step up I gave all characters a time to shine by putting their name in the screen. And as a pleasure to include Jaafar Jackson’s music video clips since he will be playing the King of Pop. I made sure to use clips of him doing the similar dance like Michael Jackson. In the end I gave him some spotlight by making him say the words spoken by MJ about how he gets inspiration from above. The part about MJ hearing the negative news about him made up by the public I played “Hum4n N4ture” to connect with the idea of this is human’s nature do.
