This is my review & comparison of the Lionsteel Gitano designed by Gudy van Poppel and developed in collaboration with Tools for Gents This Slipjoint features the cran forcé super strong non locking mechanism. This is traditional slipjoint (non-locking) folder in a spanish navaja style with modern materials (Titanium & Niolox) made by Lionsteel in Italy

I'd love to see this with a ~4" blade, with a lock. Automatic would be very cool, as well. I've been enjoying lionsteel knives for more than 5 years, and have several. Very happy with quality. Waiting for the green to come back in stock on this one, if I don't change my mind, due to the lack of a lock.

This is one of, if not the best, reviews I have seen in the Gitano. I fell in love with this knife when it first came out and now seeing this review I want it even more. I’m a sucker for a clip point blade and this is one of the most beautifully done clip points I’ve ever seen. The knife itself is the perfect size and the blade being almost 3.5” is the, in my opinion, perfect size in a knife blade. Lionsteel knocked it outside of the park with this one.

Hi from Italy, I would like to say that you can find the same locking mechanism on the philips screw driver of the Victorinox Swisschamp.

Excellent video! And a great looking knife - very unique. I'm waiting for the CAN/US border to reopen so that I can pickup my Gitano, which was shipped to a friends residence in the US. That will be a good day! Thanks for sharing!
