Lionsteel M2M First Impressions 

I had the M3 but it was a little heavy for backpacking so I bought the M2M- absolutely love it.

I love the looks of this Lionsteel M2M knife and would love to own one. Great knife review!

The armatus sheaths are a nice upgrade for more options and you can get accessories for them, too.

M3 EDC.. Had my eye on this since it's release, but so close to my M4 (Natural Micarta and heavily oiled sheath)... but... 😉

I own this knife and the leather sheath doesn't fit the knife and actually cut it. I wish it came with a kydex sheath. I also own the M2M and M4M. And I'm sorry Canada won't let you import any folding knives. I can't even get in the Canada without being questioned for an hour or two by the border/immigration staff, despite being a late middle aged white woman. They harass me every time I try to enter Canada and have turned me away once when I drove cross country on a 30 day journey across North America (but wasn't allowed into Canada in 2006 and was questioned for an hour at the Quebec Airport in 2017).

I got a M4 sometime back and for the edge thickness reason I wasn’t too impressed either it. I reprofiled it but still didn’t care for it. That said I got the m2m and absolutely love this blade with the Armatus Carry sheath it’s perfect for edc

As soon as they make one in 3V or Magnacut I will purchase an M2. Great review. Note if I did not have a ton of small fixed blades I would probably jump now. But I have a Bradford Guardian 3.2 & a 3.5 in Magnacut, as well as a White River Back Packer Caper in S35VN. Both of these steels can take a lot more abuse than M390 and both are easier to sharpen. 3V is more difficult to sharpen but if you strop it after using ya never need to sharpen. Again the M2 looks like the ergos are perfect.

I own the M4 and a few other Bigger Lion Steel Blades , they make Great Blades , but that is just a bit too small for me .....👍🖖

I’d like to try one to skin wouldn’t take me long to like or not .

Any thoughts on the H1?

Would this blade shape be suitable for archery where I need to dig arrows out of tree roots etc?

Anymore news on this knife or the cold steel master hunter ?

What dilemma with lionsteel and m390?

If you want to carry it differently get a different sheath

I would like the M2 M or the other one even better if it was a hollow grind at 3 1/2 inch blade I’m not gonna be hacking anything with it what I want is sharpness. Pass this on to lie and steal hollow grind very thin edge😢

Lion steel like the bullnose style too much. That steep belly. Like he says, its only benefit is skinning

Functional just not very interesting with that grind and bladeshape... Pricing is just ok. For all that blade height i want a bit more length . Over all pass for me

Love lion steel I have the mi small sharp. Great when fishing .small game carry it all time instead of a pocket knife. I have the m5 and t 5 gona get m2m I want them all.
