The lip shape should be done when the client is sitting. As that’s how you can correctly
see the symmetry.
1. For the upper lip, find the top curves of the cupid’s bow and mark them with dots. You should get an even triangle of three dots.
2. For the lower lip, the upper dots on the upper lip should be transferred to the lower one, you should see the rectangle between the upper and lower lip.
3. Mark with dots the mouth corners, the lines of the upper and lower lips should merge smoothly into these points and connect. An exit beyond the lip corners is unacceptable.
4. There can be several dots; the main thing is that there should be the same distance between them.
5. Connect all the dots.
6. Soften the lines, smoothly circling along the contour of the lips.
7. Fill the lips with color.
8. Outline the sketch with a white pencil. Thus, it will be much easier to evaluate the symmetry of the lip’s shape.
