I just had my first Lipedema surgery with Dr. Jamie Schwartz two days ago. I had my upper arms, buttocks, back of my thighs and calves done. This is surgery number one. For the second surgery he will do my abdomen and front of my legs, along with my forearms. I am incredibly bruised everywhere. Looking forward to doing the second procedure in a couple of months. Congrats you made it ! Dr. Jamie Swartz switched to removing the pannus if it has the bumps of Lipedema first because it may cut the lymph flow from the legs. I need my grade 3 pannus that came to me with Cushing's disease 25 years ago took off.
thank you for sharing your story. What happened with your skin for each procedure? No one ever talks about their skin after getting any liposuction for lipedema. Can you help explain this for arms, legs and abdomen?
