The approximate time to complete the project is 3-4 hours, breaks are mostly for drying mirrors and paint

Thank you so much, you can add varnish before adding the mirrors. Otherwise you will gave to cover each mirror with masking tape and its a good amount od work to add to each mirror.

Air dry clay, but be aware that the clay may shrink.

Thank you so much 😊. Yeah we can use clay but when I was doing my lippan art with clay I got some issues like clay cracking not holding to board. So came up with this idea. I am doing some proof of concepts using different clays that work. Will share a DIY soon once I a successful. Hope this helps
