A cleft lip can make the lip part of the makeup routine that little bit trickier, and there are so many times I have had to redo the edges, trying to get my lipstick looking the best possible. Bold colours can be scary, but they can also be fun! 💄💋 (Though I'll admit I never wear some of these, especially the bright purple haha) Are you a fan of cold/bright/vivid lip colours? 💜 This week is of course #CleftAwarenessWeek, but next week is #FaceEqualityWeek and Face Equality International are asking us to share our visible differences, our ✨️masterpiece✨️ using a frame or our hands to showcase it 🖼🥰 #cleftaffected #cleftadvocate #CleftLipandPalate #cleftconditions #cleft #cleftlipandpalateawarenessweek #cleftawareness #visibledifferencecommunity #facialdifference #visibledifference #lipliner #cleftmakeup
I don't really wear makeup unless I'm on stage, and the past couple of years I've used this bright red lip pencil (bought in an emergency situation!) Although it's been tricky, I think it looks pretty good! I'd say the thing I found most difficult was the asymmetry and not having a side I could use for ''reference'' -- I have a bilateral cleft, but each side was affected differently! In the beginning, it was also hard to work out where the edges were, but I got it right in the end 💄💋
