Ok ghoul you literally just opened my eyes to overlining! I have a really uneven top so I’ve tried for years to over line to make them match and it never worked. Now I just tried to make the middle part the more full part, and followed my natural line on the sides and it looks PERFECT! Thank you! 😂🖤

I am half Italian (and thus a hairy beast) and go ahead and use a shaver on the whole face! It makes the makeup smoother all over. I'm glad you mentioned this issue.
Lip fillers are seriously a savior. They have done wonders for my confidence! After I got them I bought SO MUCH LIPSTICK! I even have black lipstick now!!! I do my lipstick very similar but I like to test an even more round shape by connecting my Cupid’s bow tips into an arch/half circle instead. It looks much more round in photos that way I find!

Have you tried Sleepwalker from Black Moon Cosmetics? I love that formula so much more than Lime Crime's liquid lips (though LC is good, too). BM is also indie and vegan, but the formula doesn't dry out as fast as LC lipsticks seem to do. Thanks for this tutorial! I've watched your videos for the last 2 years and have always admired your lip shape!
YESSSS I have BM Sleepwalker and love it too!! There's just something about the thin formula of LC I can't get enough of!! Although it could be that I just recently started using BM so I'm still getting used to working with it and playing around with it! I'm a huge fan of the BM Purgatory shade... the dark dark purple almost black 🤤🤤😍! I've been wearing that when I'm not wearing LC Black Velvet!
Oh yessss I need this! My lips are thin and turn down at the corners and I get SO self conscious how they look when I wear lipstick, especially dark colors which I prefer. Thank you thank you!
I feel it is definitely easier to fake a more pouty lip with lip liner and liquid lipstick than it is for a bullet lippie so I know what you mean...it's in the way the lipstick dries 😘🖤

when outlining for black ive found it easier to use a creme gel eyeliner pencil because it goes on more smoothly and pigmented like the colourpop or Nyx ones 😁

So glad you found it helpful!! I highly recommend Sarah Maxwell at Vargas Face and Skin Center! Her work is amazing and other people I've sent to her have also been really happy. Tell her I sent you if you decide to go and she can look to see what product she used on me and what not if you're wanting something similar! Also, I see Dr. Vargas for my botox (didn't know if you were interested or looking for that or for future reference as well just wanted to mention it just in case). Love the whole facility cuz they focus on making you look natural and they aren't pushy or try to upsell stuff you don't need or procedures you don't need! Oh also, they have specials on filler twice a year so definitely ask about that during your consult so you can get the most bang for your buck.
This is so smart! I don't know why but I've never thought of using a lip brush to line with liquid lipstick. I've always just struggled with using the thinist part of the doe foot.
Liquid lipstick is definitely a skill, I think I’m pretty good at it, I have the extra challenge of naturally asymmetrical lips, the left side of my top lip is more rounded and my top right is more straight if that makes sense lol. I love accentuating a hearty Cupid’s bow, I’ve always been inspired by ‘20s and old Hollywood lips shapes; and brows for that matter ! When lips are done neatly is so satisfying and pretty to look at lol. You’re are always gorgeous ! 🖤🖤

Oh and I learned from Ve Niel that to do lips, especially as a makeup artist, you stick out your pinkie from the nondominant hand and lean it on the chest. Then with your dominant arm lean against that arm so that your dominant hand has something steady to lean against.
Thank you for admitting you shave! I'm 38 and have been toying with the idea bc I have so much blonde peach fuzz and it started becoming more noticeable almost overnight. Frankly I'm scared to get my face waxed or threaded. It's very refreshing to hear you speak openly about it.
YES DOOO IT!!! I too was nervous to get waxed or doing anything that required too much of a commitment (someone in the comments mentioned getting waxed can stimulate hair growth eep!) but shaving did just the trick for the peach fuzz and makeup goes on flawlessly and since it's blonde peach fuzz I don't need to shave every day, just when I notice it's long enough to start catching the light or snagging on my lipstick again 😂😂. No shame in the shaving game! 🖤🖤🖤
@@JadeTheLibra I did do it and my foundation went on much easier today. Dunno why I was fretting about it bc I've been telling my friends theres nothing wrong with shaving your arms as long as it's not against the grain.
I love using dark lipstick colors, too, but my lips always end up looking like 10:25... And then I add a little more, and then it's uneven on the opposite side, and then.... It's up to my nose and I have to wipe it off and start over. 😂

I needed this because using black lipstick is pretty much hit or miss for me and sometimes it gets so messy, I give up just because my lips would start hurting after a million erasures.😁🤣🥰😍

This has happened to me as I've got older, one side of my lips has far less volume than the other, a lot of jiggery pokery is now required when applying lipstick in dark shades
