This is the BBA Approved flat roof waterproofing system from Liquasil Ltd., Liquasil Ultra PU.
Made in the UK, Liquasil Ultra PU has the highest level of volume solids than any other similar looking system.
It uses the highest quality polyurethane polymers available, making it ultra strong and ultra durable.
Applied in two coats, the first embedment coat includes a chopped strand glass fibre mat.
After around 2 minutes, the emulsion mat dissolves, leaving free-flow glass fibres within the coat.
This makes it very easy to mould the product around flues, roof lights, upstands and other protrusions.
Once cured, the embedment coat is examined for defects. Strands of glass fibre can be sanded down and any pin-holes present can be re-coated with the embedment coat.
The final stage if to apply the UV stable top coat. When applied at just 800 microns, it will easily provide waterproofing for at least 15 years.
This product comes with the 10 year Liquasil Latent Defects Guarantee as standard, when installed by a Liquasil Approved Installer. A further 5, 10 or 15 years product-only warranty can be provided if a heavier film weight is applied, or re-coat the top coat after 10 years for a further 10 years Latent Defects Guarantee.
Liquasil products are not available via stores or merchants, since they are professional grade systems.
