It goes to the combustion chamber meaning it’ll be mixed with air and fuel and basically explode like air and fuel usually explode in a combustion chamber so theoretically speaking it doesn’t hit any seals or get deposited it just cleans carbon deposits and goes through the cc

Hello Umer, No that is not possible, because after the combustion, the Throttle Valve Cleaner has no more cleaning effect in the exhaust system or catalytic converter. But a cleaned air intake system helps for a better combustion and also a cleande injection system and that helps to relieve the catalytic converter system. Best regards, your LIQUI MOLY team

It is incredibly difficult to cause actual damage with this stuff. Either a skill issue or your ECU threw a misfire code that needs to be cleared.

Im late by 5 months, but basically you're putting too much, you need to put in some so that the rpm drops, but not too much where it stalls

Do not use on hot surfaces or polycarbonates. The product may lead to color changes on paints. To clean your complete fuel system we recommend you our Injection Cleaner it removes deposits from your fuel system and injection nozzles. I have tried both the fuel system cleaner which threw into the fuel tank a before I used the throttle cleaner, I managed to spray the throttle cleaner directly into the throttle as I wanted to avoid the product coming into contact with the maf sensor. I can defiantly say that I have seen an improvement in both fuel economy and throttle response. Can I used both the throttle cleaner and the fuel system cleaner again when I refill just to be 100% sure that the product has the desired effect of removing carbon build up in the intake valves as direct injection engines have issues with carbon build up on the intake valves. Is the second application safe in the oil or could it have an adverse effect on the synthetic oil? Thank you in advance.

We recommend to use 2 of our products when having these kind of issues like no idle and problems with starting the engine. On the one hand you should clean the intake part with the Throttle valve and the manifold with our Pro-Line Throttle Valve Cleaner on the other hand it is also important to clean the fuel system too, here we recommend our Injection Cleaner Kind regards, your LIQUI MOLY team

Create direct access to the throttle valve. Start the engine to start cleaning. If the engine cannot maintain the speed with the intake pipe removed or cannot be started, disconnect the plug from the air flow meter with the ignition switched off. In this case, the stored fault must be deleted from the engine control unit after cleaning using a suitable diagnostic device and the air flow meter must be taught in again if necessary. Spray the Throttle Valve Cleaner across the entire area of the throttle valve at medium speed (min. 2,000 revolutions) via the spray probe. If a speed fluctuation of more than 1,000 revolutions occurs during application, it is important to shorten the spray intervals. Make sure that the Throttle Valve Cleaner does not come into contact with the air flow meter or painted components.

Hello, from a technical point of view are the LIQUI MOLY Top Tec 4200 5W-30 and the LIQUI MOLY Top Tec 4300 5W-30 suited for your Auris Hybrid and the Auris D-4D, because both oils fulfills all the needed requirements from Toyota, no matter if the Top Tec 4200 has no Toyota recommendation. We recommend you to use our: LIQUI MOLY Pro-Line Throttle Valve Cleaner Create direct access to the throttle valve. Start the engine to start cleaning. Hello, yes, our LIQUI MOLY Throttle Valve Cleaner is suited to clean the inlet valves on GDI engines. But we recommend the application directly on the throttle valve behind the air flow sensor for the best result.

The application is in general the same - doesn't depend on the type of throttle valve. My be you must open the throttle by switch on ignition ( not starting the engine ! ) and press the accelerator pedal to open the throttle ( a little ). This is necessary to reach the parts behind the throttle e.g. the intake valves for softening the residues on the valves and the backside of the throttle valve. If it is not possible to open the throttle valve this way it's only possible with a tester via the control unit. Best regards, your LIQUI MOLY team
