Can you arrange the linkages on an oversized valve to where it only opens 70% at max? The difference in Cv between 4" and 6" (70.1 and 277) is huge. We have a 6" but the 4" would be way to small.

How do you get play out of the dump arm or trunnion arm? I constantly have dumps that have so much play. It will dump but with that much play it will drain it all down and have gas flow by until you get a good amount of fluid back in the vessel.

It seems most likely that you may have the older style of hub/shaft in your valve and that’s what causing the slop/play/backlash. Updating the internals will greatly improve the operation of the valve. If the problem persists, you can give product support a call and we’ll find another solution. This video should give you all the info you need about that fix: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BlV0CS6EOyk.html

Also, if you have a 2" connection size and it's within the affected serial number range, you can get a free replacement of the hub/shaft components. Product Support can help you with that as well. (405) 525-4264 or productsupport@kimray.com
