I love to mow with the Toro 3100D mower. This makes mowing a dream and makes mowing so much faster.

You recovered that lawn nicely over the last few weeks. It went from a little shabby, to "not too shabby". BTW pal, we need an update on the she-shed - it looks like you've done some work on it, and it's really looking nice. My wife even commented as she passed by the TV: "Wow, that's a nice shed!".

Ahhh, Bloomington Lake...saw an epic failure on that rope swing several years back - she let go of the rope in about a foot of water, only to go face first into the rocks.

Hi Connor.. Love the videos and the way you share the knowledge. I'm struggling with an issue. I did a full overseeding project last weekend with aerate, cut, soil with triple mix, overseed with the types of perennial rye and then starter fertilizer and humic acid treatment. That whole process went well but here's the issue. This week was cooler than expected here in Toronto. No rain. I watered at least twice a day and tried to keep the seeds moist. Unfortunately I haven't had really any growth yet and first is day seven. I'm keeping up the watering but the lawn seems to have slowed down a lot and I am starting to see it browning. I'm worried I'm getting fungus from the over watering but I can't stop because of the seeding. What do I do? Thanks

Completely off topic but I just have a question I haven’t been able to find the answer to anywhere. I live in Alberta Canada and my lawn along with everyone else’s goes totally brown and dormant in the winter. My question is, in the spring do those brown blades of grass begin to turn green again, or does the grass grow new blades? It seems like the answer is new blades, because every spring I have a lot of dead material that doesn’t go away. I’m asking because I’m already looking forward to next spring because my grass is already going dormant, lol, and I’m just wondering if in the spring if I should just scalp all of the dead stuff off so I don’t get matting and don’t have so much dead material in the lawn. Thanks!

Do have any more to add about your experience with MSM? I bought some with the hopes of getting rid of some garbage rye that stuck around after my renovation. I didn’t smoke it all away like I should have. Anyway once I saw how powerful the stuff is I’ve been hesitant to use it. 0.15 of a gram per 1,000 has left me weary.

I'm in a real pinch, I hope you can help. I'm sure you've seen the fires here in Oregon. Is there anything I can do to help my lawn and dahlias? I'm assuming the heavy, heavy smoke isn't good for them. Im not sure I should waste very valuable water on my yard. In tips are greatly appreciated.

I thought you would dilute it in the sprayer. It went down full strength. The small bottle on the hose end was diluted when applied.

Pretty sure that he already had water in it prior. Probably eyeballed it on the water measurement hence the leaking/overflow.

Big fan of the channel! Any way you can change the exposure of your camera? You shoot at twilight alot, and the videos sometimes come in too dark for me to enjoy your work. Ty

Yes it's always dark or twilight when I get off work and am able to film. 7:48 if you look at this time stamp you will see a big difference in the color of the picture. I changed the exposure of the camera there and it gave quite a dramatic difference in color. Not sure that I liked the color difference. I don't do any color grading

I'm really struggling with humic and keeping it from clogging my hose end sprayer...ive always used simple lawn solutions humic and I've gone through a dozen sprayers...any tips on how to prevent this or another method to apply it?

Doug, humic is not a true acid and is only alkaline soluble. Mixing humic liquid with other concentrates can make sprayer clogging gel. When I was a professional applicator any sprayer problems with humic were in my mix with acid concentrates. Other acid like iron sulfate will gel humic. Look at your mix sequence - acids, then water (not too much or you overfill the tank like Connor), then humic at the end. The water buffers up the pH and will reduce reactivity. Also, look for humic with low ash content.

@@dougcooper5740I assume you are mixing products in your tank. Do a jar test to find the product incompatibility. Humic acids converts from a liquid to a gel when reacted with an acid. So look at what you are adding (acids) that gels the humic and creates the clogs. 99% of your problems go away by changing your mix sequence. Add fertilizer to tank, then about 2/3 of your tank water, then humic.
