LIQUID vs TALON - EPIC INCREDIBLE PLAYOFFS - RIYADH MASTERS 2023 DOTA 2 

Kudos to Zai for sure but there are some unbelievable plays happening in the last 60 seconds that will likely go unnoticed that, without them, Talon probably wins: (1) at 33:53 Boxi (Rubick) almost dies to 23Savage (Morphling) - Boxi has NO buyback - Boxi (w/ 118 HP) glimmers and force staffs himself in the well then gets Fortune End from Insania (Oracle), (2) at 34:04 Zai (Broodmother) makes it back into the well and, realizing they need a miracle, sells his nullifier and his BKB to buy travel boots then travels to enemy base, (3) this next point is, in my mind, the game winner for Liquid - at 34:19, 23Savage (Morphling) tries to TP back but gets stunned by Rubick's (Boxi) stolen avalanche - then at 34:23 Ember Spirit (Mikoto) tries to TP and gets cancelled by Oracle's (Insania) Fortunes End...Keep in mind that had Boxi not survived in the well (see point #1 above), he would not have been able to cancel Morphling's TP...I suppose one could argue that Brood may have still beat them in the base race even with a Morphling and/or Ember TP but I think it would have been unlikely. One final comment with respect to point #3 above - specifically the Rubick avalanche onto Morphling..There's a camera angle (not shown in this video) of 23Savage (Morphling) standing up and celebrating at the 59:40 IN GAME TIME mark. He takes off his headphones and starts waving both at the crowd and the Team Liquid both. Literally seconds later he realizes it's not over and tries to sit back down in his chair but the chair has spun around and he has to sit on the arm rest. My guess is that, had he not been flustered by his premature celebration, he would have waveformed to a safe TP location, not been stunned, and likely had a shot at stopping Brood. Karma? Rubick's blink only comes off of cooldown at 34:20 which is why it was only at the last second that he was able to blink avalanche. 3) Morphling mistakenly uses satanic at 34:24 which he could have used to dispel Fate's Edict one second later. 4) Insania (Oracle) disarms Morphling with Fate's Edict at 34:25. 5) Boxi (Rubick) immediately uses Telekinesis on Morphling right after the disarm ends at 34:29.

WHAT AN END GAME! This is why I love dota 2

We should give credit to Insania though. He saves Rubick and then both of them cancelled the enemy tp. What an amazing game. Hopefully Talon can reach top 3 😊

Dang tough L for Talon. This would have been a massive win for them and a big return to the scene for some of Talon's players and SEA dota in general. It's nice to see a tight knit team comforting each other after a rough loss instead of looking angry or dead inside. You can tell this series meant a lot to them and I feel for them. This Liquid team though. You really have to make sure you bury them or they will come back to haunt you in some crazy game 3 comeback. Just a ridiculously stubborn and resilient team of veteran players.

Honestly that morph styled on them hard game 3 so dam hard but that tp cancel and the zai throne push was clutch. Best game so far in Riyadh masters.

1. At 59:23 23Savage waisted gliff, on nothing 2. He stood up while hitting thrown and scrambled back when he realised Zai is hitting his base 3. Probably because of n2, he didn't wave form tp, if he did he would've made it, tp got cancelled 0.3sec before completion 4. He waveformed and pressed satanic. If he held it, he could've dispelled disarm If any of these didn't happen, they would have won. No hate to the player, he is obviously very good, just pointing out what happened. P.S. In the before-game interview, he said "i will beat you Mickey, and I will celebrate like this *waving hands* like you did to us". Numbers 2-4 happened after he stood up and waved hands. Dota is a game of minds, as well as a game of skill. Looks like Mickey got under his skin

Brood mother is always a disgusting hero to play against, and Zai made it even nastier, phuck man, as Talon fan, this is so heartbreaking. But they never have fought against Liquid this well before, I hope there will be a rematch.

its nice to see that pro players are only human sometimes. Zai had 5 stacks on visage, 100% mana, didn't shoot a single soul assumption out for at least a minute or more. Those fights can be pretty overwhelming fording the basefight at 7:00

34:13 23Savage takes way too long to Manta off the disarm. The Rubick 5 man avalanche and Oracle keeping him alive as well as the root on Mikoto won that game just as much as Zai insanely clutch play. I wish he'd be more happy winning

I don't understand why Talon decided to have jabz deal with split pushing brood in G3. It should have been the embers job to shutdown the push and reconnect to his team. Ember had a great early to mid game and only okay late game. Swapping phase to travels could have been more impactul

2 major factors apart from zai, oracle and rubick disarmed the morph and lifted him he couldnt hit throne , they mightve ended it he was allowed to hit it.

During the post game interview Zai admitted that they have a losing game 3, his team weren't able to execute their strategy, the match was a stomp, so he had to mute all players and just focus on the side lanes to try and get them some advantage. he even said that they didnt want to play a long game with talon as sea is known to dominate long matches and that they could have easily lost the game and he wasn't too happy for "winning this way because talon obviously is a stronger team" to which he was referring to himself playing PVE during most of game 3.
