In an uptrend exhaustion gap is probably the last gap, to know whether the gap is exhaustion or not, we may follow two parameters 1.if the gap occurs with low volume means price and volume are not moving in the same direction , it's against the dow theory .. 2.whenever the gap occurs in an uptrend if the gap filled within few trading sessions. It's an alarming signal of trend change..Generally Exhaustion gap occurs at the last phase before trend reversal. Again technical analysis is high degree of probability but exceptions are there..

your each and every video is a gem and need to be viewed many times y each person as you are giving exclusive knowledge to us. Gaps in the initial stage of move specially in 3rd wave are break away gaps and continuation gaps. gaps created in 5th wave are exhaustion gaps.

Exhaustion gap isiliye hota hai, ki ek rally me price age badha hota he, or ek point par jo log buy karna miss karte is rally me, wo Suddenly buy order dalte he, ki ab mis na ho or next day uss Multiple fomo order k karan gap up hota he. Or usi gap up k bad institutions k profit taking ati he, or price niche jati he.

When price opens gap up and on that day candle closes with high volume but at the EOD the candle closes at the middle of the high low spread of candle. Sir your videos have helped me a lot in the market no matter it is rising or falling market. :)

Bharat sir... in first candle of Gap up we will mark a chnnel of first candle zone after that the same channel we will place at the 2nd green candle of Close price and check if price breakout to the 2nd candle gap up channel zone so it will go up if not then price will falll come to below.... Let's take an example if candle A is range of 10 points and candle B is gap up. Draw the range of candle A (10 points) on the high of candle B , if price trades above that range in next few candle then it is called continuous gap and if price fail to trade above that range it is called exhaustion gap.

Breakout candle ki range small hai, volume bhi expand nahi hui , upar wick bhi hai, breakout candle ke baad bhi price rejection face kr rahi thi next candles mein , pichli candle big thi but breakout candle nahi and build up nahi tha

Exhaustion gap Occur in the Volatility phase post good Momentum/Rally phase usually at the end of the trend or in the sideways consolidation after rally Continuation gap Occur after or in continuation of break-away (Breakout) gap post Consolidation/range Breakout usually at the beginning of the trend.
