I'm going to check out her shades, but this looks so good, and Mandy's review is so positive, how can I go wrong. Thanks for your input using on mature skin.
I’ve been using it for a month and it’s amazing. Doesn’t sink into fine lines and makes skin look flawless with just a few drops. The lighter shades do come up really light though, so you may want to test it in person, if you can.
And this is why many of us don’t go for first impression reviews. Would always rather wait for this level of detail, Mandy! I wasn’t interested in the tint before, but I might be now…
Mandy's review is always THE one I wait for. No one else tries a foundation for days to form an opinion. Her reviews are the ones I wait for. Thank you. Looks very pretty!
Awesome, thorough review Mandy, thank you. I purchased this in T6 a week ago and absolutely love it. It looks like I have nothing on my skin but that my skin looks pretty and even. I absolutely will repurchase. Love it.
I have to say that I love this product, it does not settle in my pores, around my nose, or in any wrinkles and that is fantastic for my 67 year old skin. I also use the T7 and I set with my Beauty Pie translucent pressed powder or whatevery powder I pull out. I also can get away with 3 to 4 drops and it's enough for me but I can add more and it still looks great. Thanks for your review and her Kitten mascara is wonderful too.
Great review! Thank you. I have never enjoyed wearing face makeup bc I feel it. No matter what. Lisa Eldridge really did something amazing with this skin tint. It’s my favorite. And my second favorite is the Chantecaille cushion for more special occasions.
I bought this in the UK at the beginning of the year and only used it once (with fingers) so wanted to find a good review to see other application options, this is the best review I have seen on RU-vid (you're so good I've subscribed), very thorough with extra details. I actually have that old IT Cosmetics fluffy brush so going to try it with that. I don't suppose you have a video on how to use loose powder? I haven't worn make up for years (don't ask) and never really got to grips with loose powder but now I'm older I find the set one's too heavy. Your skin, eye make and hair look incredible (I'm a bit of skincare nerd so always comment when I see someone with beautiful skin 😆) - Excellent review ... going to watch your others now .... 💜
Your foundation reviews are the best! I love how you would test products with days of wear, under different conditions with various formulas in product consistency on top of the foundation. Thank you!
After using it for a week now, I truly think this is a game changing product. While many foundations can work for young smooth skin, it gets more and more difficult The older one gets to find something that makes one feel confident and beautiful. It truly is my skin on its best day.
Mandy you’re always lookin’ beautiful no matter what, but I gotta say, when your full makeup was done I was like whoaaa she looks gorgeous!!! That finish is just 👌 your skin just looks incredible and not overly made up, but still glam enough; just perfect. I’m glad it worked out for you because it truly looks AMAZING on you! 👏💖
Thank you for another wonderful, thorough video! I also want to thank you whole heartedly for your recommendation for the Bay Harbor Beauty silky smooth body butter! It is so luxurious and it is the only cream I’ve ever used that took care of my dry hands! I will never be w/o it! It smells divine. I can’t recommend enough!
I have used it for 2 weeks and just love it. I fully agree with everything you said (as usual :-) ). I am in shade 6, my skin is combination, on the dry side.
I appreciate your reviews so much. During the summer I’m always looking to use a tinted moisturizer and sunscreen. I’ve enjoyed the Bare Minerals ever since you recommended it.
Great, thorough review, Mandy! I agree with your impression. I sent a pic to LE CS for shade help and was recommended T1 or T3. I got T3 because it's more neutral which I thought would cancel out my rosacea redness. I apply it over my skin care and sunscreen and then lightly powder with 100 Percent Pure Bamboo Translucent Powder. I have combo-oily skin. The skin tint feels like nothing on my skin and yet evens out everything. I love it.
Great review, Mandy (as always). I love this skin tint - been reaching for it regularly. I wear T3, but mix in a drop of T5 which is an olive undertone to cancel out some redness (Lisa Eldridge’s recommendation) - works beautifully. I really appreciate that you truly test out what you review - thank you. 👍🏻❤️
So glad you reviewed this. Would this work well under JI PurePressed for additional coverage? I know this is't the topic, but I'm intrigued with the Eucerin Oil Control Sunscreen you list. As an oily skin person, I'm always on the hunt for such a sunscreen. Do you like and recommend? Thank you!
Yes! It works so well under purepressed! I actually do like the Eucerin SPF. I will reach for it a ton as the weather gets warmer. They also have a tinted version. I got Medium which is too dark for me, but I mix it half and half with the untinted and it's great! I will get light when I reorder. I am also going to try the oil control of the UVMune 400 for LRP. I currently use the original and it is also great.
Mandy, my shade is T6 but my opinion is exactly the same as yours: Excellent product that I will re-purchase. I did not use any other of my foundations after receiving this skin tint. I use my Prisme libre powder to set it and it stays and wears all day beautifully.
Hi Mandy, Great review! I agree with you on packaging👎. I purchased T6 ( Abby BW and I areshade twins!😅) and love it! I appreciate your wearing and yesting products for more than times a day and how you are honest about how the products really wear!; and if something doesn't work you note that! Ty!❤🎉🎉🎉
What a great and thorough review! I got it in t6 and it is the first product in a long time that didn't cling to my tretinoin peely spots. It was beyond beautiful on my skin, but the t zone got a little too shiny even with some Laura Mercier powder over it from when I initially set it. I live in Houston so it's HUMID out here lol. Trying to think of the perfect mattifiying primer to use on the tzone.
Thank you for this detailed review! My face will get oily throughout the day and I've been hesitant about purchasing this. I keep trying to Chat with LE's representatives, but they are never available. I am definitely going to purchase it! Off topic, have you tried her lipsticks or liners?
Thanks for this! I got 7, couldn't agree more with you - this stuff is just terrific. I sorta wish I got 6, but I think 7 will be fine for summer. I may even go for one that's warmer but lighter - it IS neutral, or maybe mix some. It's early days, but I'm pretty sure that this has ruined other skin tints for me. It's so light, no peeling/flaking - I can't feel it at all. I also got the lip Sculpt & Shade in N 0 -would have liked a tad more grey in it, but it's also nice. Did you use JI Palmist with it after powder? I have (and LE mist & CT setting), all lasted all day very nicely. If I have Fit Glow Bamboo powder, Make powder, EM Portrait mode, & NYX Mineral - do I need Ere Perez powder? Can you tell me what the Ere Perez does that those don't? Obv I have an issue with powders.
It really is such a great product. I can't get enough. I didn't feel like I needed a spray with this. I don't think I used one at all when testing it. I think if you have Fit Glow, you are good. It's my favorite powder. The main difference is that it's pressed, so it's less messy and easier to travel with. But otherwise, the loose ones look better with this, in my opinion.
The only thing I am concerned about is it has PHENOXYETHANOL which is a hormone disrupter and cause infertility so if you’re trying to get pregnant or have hormone problems you should get rid of all things that use this. It’s really weird because it’s not a necessary ingredient and can easily be removed. It’s in almost everything so it adds up too if you are using moisture and sunscreen and makeup with this ingredient. Menopause is hard enough I’m not going to make it worse! I wish women would contact these brands and demand it be removed!
I also wear t7 on my mature leaning dry skin. On days I’ve worn this on a non glowy sunscreen I haven’t powdered. On a dewy sunscreen I’ve used a little Givenchy prism libre 3 on my t zone. I used a brush first few times and used 4 drops and colour corrector/concealer but have switched to using my fingers and I use two drops and no corrector or concealer - I just tap on the tip and use a tiny bit extra as my concealer with my finger and its perfection. The best part of that is there is absolutely zero creasing under my eye. It feels like skincare going on and stays so soft to the touch all day. My favourite tint is the channel water fresh but this is definitely my second favourite beating out hourglass. I do also love Ciele but I think that’s a different category as not only does it have much more coverage but being spf 50 for me at least I don’t feel I can make a true comparison but it too can double as it’s own concealer.
This skintint works great on my oily skin. Gives a very natural, nearly mattifying finish. (Using glowy, dewy sunscreens underneath will alter the finish of this product.)
How would you compare it to ILIA super serum skin tint SPF 40? That one is my favorite to use over Drmtlgy Universal tinted Spf when I want a light foundation look.
What do you like better, the Lisa Eldredge skin tint or the Jane Iredell foundation liquid that has the beads? I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. I just ordered the Jane Iredell foundation and it seems like a very light coverage, so I was curious your comparison between the two. Thank you!
Oh goodnes...that's a hard question. If I HAD to choose between the two, I think I would still choose the jane iredale HydroPure. The Lisa has a smidge more coverage, but the jane is just pretty magical on my skin.
I absolutely LOVE this and my holy grail is MAC face and body. Very similar in its glow. I am 60 and have very dry skin. Love love love this. I am NC20 in MAC and 5 and 6, both work, in Lisa Elldridge. Lisa
Hi Mandy. I ordered this but unfortunately i got shade 6 and i didn't love it. I need to order shade 7 because i know shade can really make a difference. I only tried 3x on days off but i think shade 7 would be better especially with spring/summer coming. (Hopefully 🤞)
Send an email to the customer representative and let them know that the color doesn't work for you. They will send you an entire new one in another color and not ask for a return. The Customerservice is absolutely stellar.
Oh no let me clarify..I ordered the shade 6. I see my comment looks like I meant I ordered 7 but I should have. And their customer service is amazing. I asked them to send a label so I could exchange for eyeliner and they said keep it and gift it to a friend.
I have the hourglass tint in shade 7. Looking at this compared to the 7 in Lisa’s, looks more cooled toned than the Hourglass 7. I want to try this tint, but wondering if I should go with #8. Or the 7. I am 3.5 in the Saie tint. Decisions. This tint looks really nice on you. I think I’m a 7 or 8. Idk. lol
After using the shade match tool on her website, I was matched as T7...seeing this video has me doubting that shade for me now. I definitely have yellow undertones. I use Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation in Warm Sienna... anyone else? Recommendations for the equivalent skin tint shade for those who maybe have used both these products?
It's hard to say because I love them both so much. As an all over foundation, I probably reach for the Lisa Eldridge more, but as a concealer, the Future Skin is still in my #1 spot, so I will never be without it.
Whatever😂to those people that freak out over a little makeup at the gym. I always wear a tinted moisturizer to the gym because I wear tinted moisturizer most days and it's always around middle day . I have never had an issue with it . I don't want to look dead either even if it was first thing in the morning I would put alittle tinted moisturizer bronzer and mascara 😂 I have been trying to decide what color to get in this I'm thinking 8 or 9 idk but I think 7 will be a little to light for me . Looks beautiful on you .
@@MandyDavisMUA LOL yes !! Did u see the new DG 🫐 tinted moisturizer it looks really nice ? Are u going to try it , it's alittle cheaper the the LE and of course it's been compared but supposedly it has a tad more coverage and not as moisturizering maybe a good summer one. I saw a review looked really pretty but went to purchase it and of course it's freaken nuts trying to pick a shade , no arm swatches just a filtered blob swatch of course and they all look like the same shade on there from 10 N TO like 18N . I saw 10 N and it is a light med but has some olive in like a green ting so I know I need to go up a few from that shade but God knows what shade to pick sense they all look the same . U would think in 2024 they would make it easier for us.
@@MandyDavisMUA * I know u love ur skincare too so I was wondering if u have tried the Theraderm opc reparative serum? I was kinda intrigued by it but I want to know if its good for 110$ oz or 145$ for 1.7oz . Ingredients look nice short though and it's an antioxidant serum so idk if it's worth the money. Just wondering if u tried it yet .
@@heathersargent289 I hadn't heard of it, so I just looked it up. Looks like the main antioxidant is an Alpha Lipoic Acid. While I haven't tried it, you can get that specific ingredient from Ordinary for way cheaper. As far as full blown antioxidant serums, the C Boost from Truology is way better, ingredient list wise. Highly recommend that one.
@@MandyDavisMUA Ooo I just looked the ingredients list up it does look good. I was scared at first when u said C boost because I can't use asorbic acid like in a larger amount my skin doesn't like it no matter how hard I try. This looks good , I think I'll try this .
