I am like that little girl my mother died of HIV AIDS and later on I found out that I was HIV AIDS also the first people that find out they rejected me and took me to my grandmother I grew up with difficulties I've never use medicine but God was there to protect me keep my health now I am 28 years old I've never been sick God has been there for me now I'm taking medicine and I look like everyone else glory to God

I was sexually abused and in all my brokeness, I am blessed with a beautiful family. That friend was WRONG!! 🥲

What a beautiful store. I know how it feel to be told not to love and take care of a sick child. I felt immediately in love with my niece when I saw her a month later while visiting my mother I didn't know my sister was pregnant but she drop the baby off and have not return until a month later. My mother wasn't able to care for my niece so I came over every day before and after work to help. I was practically shunted from my family which usually don't happen I think in black families and I was shock my mother felt the same way. . This child is my niece her natural mother total neglected her at birth going on two months she only spent two days with her. It has been 32 years past and I still feel that stinging hurt feeling of non support. What a wonderful blessing to have that support in your life. I have already been so deeply involved in the care of my niece for six months or more with all her medical issue worsen after 8 years struggle as a single person I had to stop working. There are times I can't get out of my head that my aunt and other felt the same way that my niece my niece is consider a dirty baby and how dare take a child away from her mother even though the mother was never there and my sibling never at any time helped with the care. She was born when HIV was the biggest topic of the day. It took two years of finding out that she never had HIV. She have a rare genetic disorder that is progressive. She has been trach age 3, on a ventilator since age 6, lost her vision over night total blind age 10, have many physical bone and spinal problems. We still get that same unwelcome feeling. We are not included or told about family event and holidays events and dinners until a few days or week later. Her mother is greatly welcome since being off drugs for 10 years. My daily prays is that God will bless us, cure her, and she will be surrounded with loving people in her now and future life. My niece prays for a bigger apt with a bedroom big enough for her medical equipment and wheelchair. She afraid that I won't lived forever. She loves listening TV ministry. Please, please forgive me for being so worded your story touch my heart and I feel like family in my heart in such in a long time.

THIS is what this world needs to see more often. Thank you for your heart of love and compassion that matches our all mighty God. May God continue to bless you and Missy in everything you do. I will be praying for you two.
