My husband loved the soap operas and I did t. I sat with him every afternoon and he just carried on about the characters like they were his family. Even years after they went away, he would talk about them and the people like they were real and the town was real. Lol! It’s is some of my best memories of him. Thanks for giving this old lady a warm hug. ♥️🕊🙏
Classic soap opera at its best!!! Lisa was my all time favorite. Loving these clips. THANK YOU!!! Barbara was so young here. She really hasn't changed much. Still a stunning woman. Miss my ATWT. What memories this brings back. Keep them coming if you can. They don't make them like this anymore
Cant thank you enough for providing us with these episodes! I don't think it matters if these are nearly 35 years old, its very easy to get caught up in these stories and watch them unfold as if they are brand new! Its easy for me to see now how important Lisa really was to ATWT, the way she was meant to be. The Willows story reminds me of "Rebecca", with its own Mrs. Danvers character. I really don't trust this Bennett guy at all , trying to isolate Lisa from all of her family and friends .
Larry Bryggman and Kathryn Hays are so goo din this episode and Barbara keeps giving him the evil eye. These stories are all new to me and I am loving this. thanks for posting.
Eileen Fulton was absolutely incredible in her scenes with Tom, Nancy, Kim and Bennett. John was a snake in the grass with Kim about the move to the new apartment she took. Funny how Barbara was making those stares at John.
I wish there was some way to purchase ATWT from about 1967 to 1981. The storylines and the acting was wonderful during this timespan. Kathryn Hayes was my favorite actress on the program.
I had to laugh when Lisa lectured Tom about people his age not realizing you should get married. By this time Tom had been married more than she had at his age, almost as much as she had at this point period. Tom Tammi is a little better here. Loved that Kim/John scene. So much tension, Kim snapping at him. Barbara making awkward faces in the background. Love it. That Willows set looks like the Gault family home on Edge of Night. Where is Emily? The globe is a nice tough (ATWT theme).
I love these clips. I would also like to see the Lisa and Michael Shea story , I was in High School during that Story Line, I loved it in 1969 and 1970
I love all these scenes you are putting up. I cannot wait until Spring 1980 when Cricket Montgomery arrives. Cricket was my favorite at the time. I love Lisa Loring..:) Cricket for some reason never had much of a storyline except getting pregnant.
I loved the Barbara Ryan of the 1970s. She was so strong and good like her Aunt Kim. Could not stand the way her character devolved into a bitter back stabbing vengeful person. Quit watching the show in 1981. But I did tune in for Kim and Bob’s wedding.
