The rapper is Brandon Kennedy, known as Complex. I used to get freestyle from him live just a few short years ago watching mobster movies. He was very gifted. Thank you RU-vid for showing a bit of just how gifted he truly was. RIP.
@DamienBlade thanks for the update. :D someone had mentioned that she was on facebook and she accepted my friendship shortly after i wrote that post. i wish that she was still making music because the music of today i am just not a big fan of. i can admit that over 20 years later, i'm still a fan!

Interesting. The black & white footage of daggers and guns is absent from the version I have on video tape. Presumably because I taped it from YTV. Wondered why there was a bit of scene repetition, but now I know why, and I'm more than cool with it.
