I've read alot about Elvis....the film wasn't very historically accurate. Especially about his youth. I couldn't stop thinking Tom Hanks was channelling Adam Sandler aka Waterboy/Opera man 🤣. Honestly I found it distracting and seemed like a long SNL skit

Look again. Riley has Elvis facial bone structure. His forehead, cheek bones, jawline and chin. The smile is Priscilla’s. The eyes are Priscilla’s. Ben had his father facial bone structure especially his chin and thick face. But he did have Elvis smile.

Having seen his other stuff, he is a good enough actor not to be typecast. My wife, who is not a movie fan, was really impressed by Butler’sperformance, as much as I. Not really an Elvis fan, because of the uneven quality of his work. But at his best he lives up to the legend, and this is what Butler does, which is recreate the legend.
