I met her when she put out her first album. Saw her at the club casino. I went up to her tour bus where she came out of the back door she walked right over to me. We talked about her dad, I told her I loved her music and was brought up with his music! We hugged and laughed and found out we where both born in 1968. She signed my shirt!! I'll be wearing it today in honor of her!! RIP Lisa Marie❤️

Imagine trying to find your way in life as a young woman and performer, and people only ever want to hear about your father or your husband. No wonder she felt pressure singing after being asked repeatedly about her legend of a father. You did great, Lisa. RIP and condolences to your family.

Rest in peace Lisa. It's heartbreaking how much she loved Michael. Most of her songs are about MJ. Just a Dream, Weary, I Was Wrong, Over Me, Gone, Indifferent, Now What and The Road Between. She followed him around the world for 5 years after they divorced and even after that she was still sending him begging letters and making friends with his family to try and get back with him. She stood by his coffin after everyone had left the funeral and left flowers in a vase engraved with the message 'I will always love you. Eternally. L x'.

Then to lose her son from suicide, it’s a pain that’s unmeasurable. I don’t doubt that she struggled with it every day. I’ve loved her music for about 27 years, and I always thought she had a unique voice and was worthy of respect. RIP lovely lady, you’re finally at peace.

I am the same age, 54, and I have been experiencing heart palpations since NYE. This news is so scary. She went to bed last night thinking she's got decades ahead of her. None of us know what's going to happen minute to minute. I have a cardiology appt next week, thank God. If anything good can come of this tragedy, I hope it will be that people, including myself, take better care of their heart health. RIP Lisa Marie ❤💔

I think this was the year that Lisa and Michael Jackson cut off contact, after continuing to be in a relationship for 4 or 5 years AFTER their divorce. Her response to being asked questions about him was genuinely how she felt, something was wrong and she had been pushed out of his life. So sad she endured being close to two of the most famous men to ever exist, but you can't save anyone from themselves.

So sad to hear of Lisa Marie Presley passing. It saddens me more knowing her daughters lost a brother just 2 years ago and now they lost there mom. I just can't imagine the pain those young girls must be going through. Lord give them the strength and wisdom to go on and do well!!!🙏

I don't understand why in every interview they always focused on asking her questions about her father or about her relationship with Michael Jackson and that's it. No one, at least from the interviews I've seen, has ever been interested in asking her about herself, her present, her plans, etc ... always and only about others. She was certainly a very down-to-earth person and by now she had already gotten used to certain questions, but I think she was also tired of them since they invited her only to constantly ask her about her father, the relationship she had with him, what they did ...she really had to go through absurd moments and a life that was not at all easy in my opinion, she always lived in the shadows and also in great sadness. A truly underrated person. May she rest in peace in heaven next to her loved ones, this beautiful soul ...

I remember watching this live way back in the day and watching it now .... I see Elvis in her. I am so very saddened that she is gone. I'm crying as I think about her life, such sadness she endured with the loss of her father at a young age and then the loss of her only son to suicide.
