I love how she keeps saying "pure intentions", like it's okay to be weird around chicks so long as you're pure enough about it 😂 bless her fanficking heart
Picking up girls at a show is playing NTR roulette. Does she have a bf? Is he at home or just feet away in the pit? Is he a skinny chump or a jacked asshole? Can you really believe her when she says shes in a "polyamorous" relationship? Many questions that are left unanswered when you need to scream in somebodies ear in between sets just to ask.
@@jarnegi Im not a delusional Lisa lover trying to find true love at the hardcore show. Im talking to a Poly goth chick for her mentally ill pussy for the evening. Definitely not running away from an opportunity.
Mannn... twice I tried the Lisa strat, still maidenless. Was this stoned out freak at a Whitechapel concert who kept grinding on these two scene girls and after noticing that it wasn't gonna stop I got pissed and threw him into the circle a few rows up. Few years later saved a qt blonde from an Attila mosh (poor thing had no idea wtf a "mosh" was). Got a hug out of the 2nd one tho.
Lisa is exhagerating. I've been to far too many Punk and hardcore shows and have the hearing damage to prove it. I've never been in a pit where people didn't generally try to look after each other. If someone falls over people will all pull them up to their feet. People will be more careful around girls and younger people and if you ever feel out fo your depth you can ask for help and people will help get you to the front so security can lift you out.
You have obviously never been to a Lisa show. But yeah you're right, most people are nice and genuinely caring. I think that it's rarer to see assholes in these situations.
I remember moshing in the pit once and got knocked into this girl and gave her a concussion lol we ended up becoming good crowd killing friends afterwards
I was at the edge of a pit during an A7X concert. I wanted to join in, but my sister held on to my shirt the whole time. I got elbowed in the mouth, but thankfully didn't cause injury. I did see a couple of moshers with bloody noses. The sad thing about that concert was that was The Rev's final concert before his death.
She's not giving a dating advise, she's straight up talking that if you want to help someone out - do it to help, not expecting anything in return. Just have a good time. If something comes out of it - good, if not - you still had fun, right?
I know, that’s why I said dating/love advice, my b Ig I should be more clear. I mean advice in general. And, she said that her friends/girls do dress up to look nice, and you think a dude isn’t gonna shoot his shot, in a place where there are girls, alcohol/drugs and music? Dude.. I’m sorry but the thing about the “fun” part is that girls are trying to dance with a guy (generally), you’d know that if you went to places like clubs, etc.
@@blindeyedblightmain3565 She literally said that if you go to the show and want to hit on girls, don’t. She said that unless the guy has pure intentions, then he shouldn’t even try. She’s basically saying no trying to get laid at these shows. Even though I know of a few girls that go to shitty concerts single and try to get some.
No she’s saying you shouldn’t go to a hardcore show expecting to get a gf or get laid. Ya know, you can help a girl up from the floor without being a simp right?
@@kristiankonev5190 that is true. I mean, if its 40 bux then who fucking cares. Then again, its no about the money. Who pays for a band they're not going to watch? You're there for the tunes, nothing else. Thats why I rarely record. It is such a bad distraction.
Being a big guy (and old) I used to act as a bumper for the pit and the girls at the front. That said, the ones in the pit I treat like another dude, maybe just backing off just a bit. Met many a cool touch chick that way. Lol no wedding, though.
You swing both your arms in a circle while kicking your feet in front of you as far as you can. There are a lot of pit dances that are just designed to hurt.
Woman: *Get dressed and gussied up for social event* Also woman: Why are men hitting on me?! Me: *Get dressed to go to the beach and jump into the ocean* Also me: Why am I wet?!
Guys: keep trying to flirt with a girl looking after she's made it clear she isn't interested in you and is getting increasingly uncomfortable that you won't leave her alone. Also guys: why do women complain about getting male attention?
@@Vedues RU-vid comment simps: Assuming a situation so they can pretend like they're a hero. Also RU-vid comment simps: Ignores the singular descriptor used for actions in the story, so nothing "kept" happening after the original singular moment the hint was indeed taken and the guy had left, leaving the simp looking like a silly-head blowing things out of proportion for e-milady's honor
@@WAAAAAAGH You provided a mildly exaggerated example of events meant to make the woman in this scenario look stupid. I provided one as well meant to show how the woman is being reasonable. It's fine if you disagree, because there certainly are unreasonable women who would act like the ones in your scenario, but there are unreasonable men as well, and these are more likely the kind that Lisa was talking about defending other women from in this clip. She clearly doesn't object to men flirting with her at a concert, considering how she makes up a fantasy about it, so it's just the ones who can't take a hint or refuse to go away that bug her.
@@Vedues No, I used the words of the storyteller. You are the one trying to form a traumatic tale of harassment and abuse, and look stupid doing so. You provided an exaggeration, an assumption based off of nothing Lisa said and unironically went the way of "unreasonable women who would act like the ones in your scenario" and not the male counterpart as Lisa did not mention defending anyone in such a manner in this clip like you claim she did other than her meming to 'protec' which was jokingly dismissed by Pippa as she is judged to be as intimidating as a small cat. She did not mention pushing a man away or telling one to stop unwanted advances because no man was there. No scarecrow harassing the poor maidens of the concert of your delusional mind was present in this story that Lisa witnessed. Whoever the man was that came and probably did try to converse or flirt and get to know some strangers of the opposite sex for one reason or another did leave before her arrival at their refusal. Which is completely normal and what you do when interacting with strangers, start convo, and leave if it doesn't take. Basic human interaction, reptillian. Overexaggerating and lying about such events does nothing but insult real instances. And no duh she changed her mind about it in the same scenario, she's a woman. Cognitive dissonance comes with the territory. Pippa called her out on it in the same moment when her example was a far more physical first meeting, as the man forcibly grabs a woman's wrist and gazes into her eyes. Sub 5 male? That's assault. 8+? That's a soulmate.
@@Vedues She’s referring to guys that act too aggressive and confrontational. She even uses those words to describe a guy that did it to the girls she was “protecting”.
When pippa dials it back she can be pretty cute and kind and I think Pippa needs that type of contrasting friend in her life as a sort of balance compared to all the mentally Ill girls she hangs around with lol
Bro Pippa, we have this thing called mosh pit etiquette. We always make sure people are safe in the pit from jerk offs who want to actually just physically assault people lol source: Me a short motherfucker who holds the line of the circle pit LOL
Got tickets for Hanabie OCT 3rd in Mesa, Arizona, as my 1st Live show. Then Slaughter to Prevail is coming to Tucson, Arizona NOV 4th. I don't think I can get the day off to see Slaughter, but I'm gonna try.
Most intimate I've ever been with a woman at a metal show was 13 years ago when I almost elbowed one in the stomach because she kept trying to squeeze past me.
You usually can't pick up those girls. They're usually either attached to the band, or they want to get backstage. That having been said... being in a band... is like speed dating...
@@hisaceinthehole3426 It's just very very easy to get with girls when you're in a band. To the point where dudes will start up bands that completely suck just because they want some.
@@jeremymain7303 seriously? You've seen with your own 2 eyes, bands still getting laid despite shitty music? I thought the only people into actual music were dudes and other musicians?
@@hisaceinthehole3426 lol probably, it depends on how you do it and move your upper body. Just look up hardcore 2 step dance and you’ll see some goofy looking dancing
No shade against Lisa, but she just threw the metalcore community under the bus... Aside from the bad apples that you'll find in the pit in any genre, every pit at a metalcore show has been extremely well-behaved. You fall down? Someone immediately helps you back up. Get the wind knocked out of you? Someone's gonna notice and ask if you're all good. Accidentally took an especially hard hit or just generally not looking like you're in top shape for some reason? Someone's gonna ask you if you're OK. Maybe Lisa's had some unfortunate experiences, but please don't let that paint a bad image of the genre's live shows. (Crowdkillers, piss off.)
