I would of said no you want to an business man so Marge can have great things but I guess not I guess Homer wants to have it all to himself or something LOL
effooo2000 It's because the song is a parody of Rainbow High from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, which follows the (historically innacurate) life of Eva Peron, who was first lady of Argentina around that time period!
It's quite clear that she's gonna end up with him regardless. She can't marry someone on her tier, because very few men like that will ever exist, and they're mostly globe-trotting EPA specialists who have no time to settle down. She has little choice but to settle, but considering how few are on her level, it makes sense. And taking Milhouse is the ultimate admittance of settling.
Lyrics: Eyes, pearls, smile, hair points, dress, voice, shoes, swatch watch. I may be the new girl, but you can't brainwash me. Just Osh Kosh be gosh me, and just leave me be! To fight for kid power, I must heard, not seen! I have to lead wisely, not just primp and preen! (Nails, dimples, ears, scrunchie, purse, lunchbox, teeth, Milhouse.) This cuting up suits me, there's beauty within me. So let's Olsen twin me, give them someone to love! This grown up makeover, has made me a super tween! For they are my people and I am their queen!
Great lyrics, Baby V. But here is the song from TSOTS 5 (Sung by Queen Europa). Here is the queen of Sticktopia! You may be the new slave, But you can't brainwash me, Oh would you kindly please, Please just leave me be, I have used the power, I must be proud, not serious! I have my own kingdom, Not just some junk! Her name is actually Queen Europa! This new power suits me, All men are now with me, So let everyone live, Give them someone to fight, This is just possible, It has made me a queen, For there are my people, And I am their queen!
Girls start maturing earlier in life than boys, usually between the ages of 8-11. Boys take longer to start hitting puberty, usually between 10 and 14. Boys also stay in puberty for a lot longer than women do, finishing around 20 -22, while Girls are usually finished between 17 and 20. This is a biological advantage; for most of history, people did not live very far past the age of 30; anyone that made it to their 40s was considered old and wise. By maturing earlier, this ensures that women were more able to take care of their children before they died (particularly since childbirth often killed mothers long ago) because men remain in puberty longer, they have a higher stem cell count than women for most of their earlier lives (cells that aren't differentiated) which enables them to repair injuries and heal wounds more quickly. this is a biological advantage to help the man survive and keep going through rough conditions they were commonly exposed to working dangerous jobs or fighting in battles so that they can provide for the woman. Now that Women are socially mobile and able to provide for themselves with less scrutiny, and men are more often expected to assist in the early-stages of childhood, we will likely see some of these traits reverse over the course of several centuries (depending on the circumstances) women will mature less quickly and men will mature more quickly.
@@hobomike6935 i agree with most of what you said with the exception that most people lived up to 30-50 as thats not true its just that the life expectancy was around that amount since infant mortality was high, if you survived being a child you’d probably live up to 70ish
"I can't take it anymore! _I'm just gonna draw a hairline on!"_ -Lisa simpson, upon discovering that she and her siblings don't know where their hair starts and ends
Wait, if Lisa's spikes can be styled like real hair, what was with that scene on "Lisa on Ice" where her hair spikes popped the volleyball and the coach said, "Kids, that was our only ball. There won't be a team this year."? And that wasn't a non-canon episode, either. The Treehouse of Horror episodes, I understand them not sticking 100% to canon.
The whole dress to impress is kind of true. Who do you honestly want representing your people? Someone that looks like a highly successful businessman/woman? Or someone that looks like you (dressed in clothes your mom brought you like 4 years ago)?
The strands of her hair being yellow is really uncomfortable and disturbing. I didn't notice how weird it was when her hair was just a zig zag thing but now it looks like it's actually made of skin.
That's her real hair I believe. It was also styled differently from her normal starfish style in the episode where she and Bart drank that Buzz Cola milk that was filled with hormones.
I'd like to think it's messy/wavy and was straightened and tidied up a bit. Granted this is a cartoon we're talking about - the continuity is off at times.
There's no need to take it in such a feminist attitude chill.... Marge just isnt used to seeing business women as it is not that common, and it still not is.
