This story really touched me, you are a brave and beautiful woman, I don't have this problem in particular, but I do have intimacy issues because of emotional abuse and chronic illness, and I know what it's like to have to face everything all alone, you end up building so many walls, but also you develop incredible courage and somehow become your own hero. you are not alone. I have been trying to have sex for the longest time and it didn't happen until I met my husband we tried alot of time until day by day half inch until total entry along with alot of pain .at the age of 36 and I was not getting pregnant either and after 4 years I had a baby natural birth surprise I was and i was glad but I came back tight again I still have painful sex but I always try to relax i don't know what to do .when I was pregnant sex hurt so bad we hardly ever had sex during my pregnancy. so you are not alone in this problem let's pray thats all sorry

So glad you got treated. Unfortunately there's very little in the uk for this, my doctor knew very little about it and said I had a traumatic event in life so see a counsellor. Very unsympathetic and not at all understanding came out very upset. Was told it's something your just going to have to live with.

Great story! Been suffering since I was in my early 20s and sex has been too painful for me. Mine stems from sexual abuse by a stranger and other guys that I was having relations with who treated me like dirt. This sexual issue is still taking over my life I can't even enjoy sex with my boyfriend and I want this to stop over taking me. I was told to get treatment every sex therapist's rates was too high for me...

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm really happy for you. I gave up on romantic relationships, marriage and motherhood after I was 35. I'm 55 now and beginning to go into menopause. To this point, there is no reason to get help for this problem. I can only do is to accept it as God's will and ask God to give me peace, good health and abundance for the remaining days of my life.
