Hardware and innovation are the pillars of the IT industry in the era of AI. With them, the industry can soar and thrive as they enable the industry to create value and solve problems for the society, organizations, and individuals. They empower the industry to grow and evolve with the changing needs and expectations of the world.

I was building computers back in the late ‘80 and remember using AMD CPUs and graphic cards with nVidia chips. How the industry has transformed? And how lucky are we to have Dr. Su and Jensen Huang, 2 Taiwanese Americans, leading the charge to design AI chips.

@@Cordycep1 I graduated in 1989 and was working for McDonnell Douglas when I started building PCs for co-workers, bought all components to build (gave them receipts) and just charged 150-200 for labor. Definitely late 80s, early 90s.

Fortunately, she is on our side. And she chosen the hardware instead of software when she was young. And MIT find her of course.

I love this industry, but... it's still a long way to go.....I visualize them all and see one thing in common...They all like to learn...they keep learning... daily

In the era of AI, IT and hardware are not static, but dynamic. That's the truth about Computer science as the progress in this domain is exponential and unstoppable. To keep up with the pace of innovation, one must learn constantly and adapt swiftly, Otherwise, one risks becoming obsolete and irrelevant.
