Rando is my all time favorite game character easily. Having a character who's strong and big as shit and has a ton of influence while also being kind and wanting to avoid conflict is super intriguing and Austin went all out on writing his character. Thank you for making him Austin.

The End is Nigh is what I know to be one of the most striking pieces of music in LISA. Despite the score seemingly giving off an aura of 'amateur'-ish with it's stock FL Studio assets and the rumor that the entire OST was literally made with the trial version of FL, it's undeniable that in general the music went out to be a great success because of how well it mirrored the hilarious absurdity and depressive atmosphere of the game. This track in particular hits at the climax of the game, and it represents that with pride, the intro of the song being that of incredible triumph and build-up as Brad faces off his final foe, who is quite literally his own adopted 'son' -- but to Brad, at this point, he's just another faceless goon in the way. The build-up sounds like it'll hit a massive drop, but instead -- it opts to slow down further and further, drawing itself out until halting, and transitioning to -- not what we'd expect to be an Epic high-octane adrenaline-inducing heart-exploding final boss track -- but rather, instead it swaps to a series of rather... odd instruments and noises (0:54). Something akin to a trumpet, yet not quite there. It's here that the track sways to the unique charm of LISA's music, the music you're already well familiar with throughout the entire game. As said before, it mirrors the absurdity of this world -- and with how strange and somewhat slow this part sounds, its quite frankly very intimidating. Like an endless march that is Brad's wrath. It's laughable how only one short overweight balding man could possibly take down an army of trained soldiers clad in bows, swords, assault rifles, and armor -- and then proceed to take on the strongest warlord in all of the land DESPITE the insane exhaustion and beating he endured. But after that absurd yet absolutely incredible segment, it swaps to a dramatic guitar sequence that was *initially* expected before the trumpet. It represents the fact that the stakes, yes, are incredibly high -- higher than they have ever been before. If Rando fails to stop Brad, it may spell the end of the human race as a whole. The electric guitar takes the forefront, and it is absolutely welcome. It's almost like, with how 'heroic' the guitar segment is, it truly represents Rando, as opposed to the evil, intimidating and distorted trumpet segment representing Brad. It's like the song itself is a dance between Brad's emotional fury and Rando's heroic intentions. But we all saw how Brad mowed down an entire army before him. Dusty never stood a chance. Peak fiction bro.

i didn't use firebombs during this fight, it just felt more appropriate to fight against rando with the moves brad taught him

This song is astoundingly well fit for the moment. The beginning represent Brad's twisted mindset that he's a Hero in all this, that he has to save Buddy from these men that will tear her apart, and that Rando is the last thing between Brad and her. And he stands, ready to beat Rando to death, not aware of who he's even really up against. Then there's the other part to this Duet of madness. Rando's part is this hopeless melody that feels more like a broken arrangement of notes than an actual song, he watches Brad get back up after slaughtering all of his men, and faces not only death head on, but the closest thing to a father he ever had. The final segment of the song is this mix of the two, containing that almost heroic theme, with the hopeless string that fits the fight between the two so well. It's amazing how much meaning you can feel in this song.

The way I see it, at the end of the game we find out that Brad did actually know how he was treating Buddy was wrong and simply tries to justify himself. Saying "I know you hate me" and then preaching to his daughter about how she doesn't understand hits twice as hard to me when Brad realizes the man he (thinks he) has just killed was one of his students and specifically the one who would've never even thought to have hurt Brad or those close to him. Brad, knowing Buddy has no idea who Rando really is, doesn't tell her to minimize damage so that maybe he could some semblance of a melancholic ending for himself. So that Buddy wouldn't treat him like a complete monster. So that he wouldn't go down in history as just another abuser. And this song is the last soundtrack we hear before the realization hits, the illusion of a heroic savior is shattered the moment it ends and we see an old man pleading to a child to believe what he did was the right thing even though he knows she will never see it that way. He still tries one last time to be something he's not and never was. A father.

I love the song, but with the mod they did in the left 4 dead 2 workshop, the mod contains some osts of the Lisa. This Ost, has the TANK, and it always gives me chills to listen to it xd

When I'm in a "Beat your son" competition and my opponents are the Armstrong family:

Rando's mask is so high quality and durable that it gives him resistance to fire even while his chest is exposed. Quality work.

The saddest part of all this is that Rando had no resentment towards Brad, despite watching him tear through his own friends. Fighting his father figure was physically and mentally the hardest thing he's had to do, and even complimented him upon defeat. Meanwhile, Brad sees Rando as nothing more than another monster in the way of him and his daughter. Even tho Rando can barely keep himself together, Brad still launches firebombs and assaults as if he was a faceless goon.

The first time Rando ever spoke in front of his soldiers was to comfort a little girl. Otherwise, he's maintained authority over them through silence and intimidation.

A fucking masterpiece and more than that, just like the game itself, i played it in this dificult times and it blew my mind, this game is awesome in all the meaning of the word, i am truly inspired by this piece of art and i want to create something that can do what this game did to me, its just... Incredible, my favorite game of all times.

I didn't know when the game would end, so I just used the headbutt slide move over and over. Finished the game with 30+ diesel bombs smh.

[Spoilers] 0:00 the beginning is mysterious and yet dramatic, representing mystery of Rando's person, while also the emotional impact of Rando preparing to fight the man whom he considers his father. 0:44 calm before the storm. 0:55 is very intense and disturbing, representing the scariness of each opponent in this fight, the intimidating physique of one opponent, and the sheer ferocity of the other. All this culminates in a battle that would be truly ugly to witness. 1:43 a mix of strings and electric guitar, showing the opposing perspectives in this fight. For Brad, live or die, it's a triumph, this is his redemption in his eyes, the first time in decades where he's 'alive'; for Rando, win or lose, it's a tragic moment, if he kills Brad, he loses someone he loves, if he's defeated, his hopes for the future of humanity are dashed, and either way, the fatherly love he desired is now rejected in the most brutal way possible... No wonder Rando cries towards the end of the fight. This song is PERFECT for this fight!

song gives me chills everytime i listen to it. remembering playing through this game, everything i went through to get up to this point, the stuff i had theories about, the stuff i figured out later, god. what an experience. truly captivating.
