I watched surviving r Kelly last night and one thing that was just crazy to me was when the older brother was talking and he was almost shaming the younger brother for not going along with what r Kelly's lawyer offered him . " you could of been rich" . That was weird to me. It's like he missed the whole point of the topic at hand. I think the whole Kelly family has issues.

She was one of the most credible because she testified against him.

It amazes me how y'all think all these women are lying. As if this isn't the same man that MARRIED A 15 YEAR OLD. Having money and making good music gives you a pass I guess.

Breakfast club! I just turned 32 yrs and I had no idea this pervert was doing this. I was too young for Aaliyah & R. K’s stardom. I watched the documentaries of this trash & it made me realize that maybe I should confront my parents about the abuse I got from a close family member. I’m still thinking about taking it to my grave, like what Lisa Van said “everyone reacts to abuse differently.”I never told no one about what was happening to me for 6months. I’m glad there’s more awareness and people are listening.

I know self help can also heal and I appluad her for having the circle of family and friends who are there to help Lisa heal. I am happy she's speaking out and continues to speak out despite the threats. God has your back and will protect you against demon's of inequities

R. Kelly Should have been canceled when he married a 15yr old Aalyiah

Lisa was in 3some 17 yrs old w a Girl 14! She cried she didn't want to do it! She was n love! She's help him! She tried to save him! She was manipulated! She testified against him! She was n foster care, her mom wasn't focused on her? He asked her if her mom would let her go to Chicago and Lisa said yes my mom will let me go to Chicago!!! Shes open to therapy and has a website to help talk to other young girls! She grew up n mature! She was pregnant n aborted the child! I believe this young lady more than his wife Andrea! I wish u the best!

This is a mess. She has so much trauma to unpack- and it has to begin way before RK. I hope she get some sort of help soon.

I believe Lisa Van 1000%, I also loved how she completely controlled this phone interview, she didn't allow none of the panel to over talk her or discredit what happened to her. So I'm completely confused....because in episode 3 of Surviving R. Kelly Lisa Van Allen says and I quote, " I came across the tape of me, him, and the 14 year old on it." She then goes on to say she took the tape. According to Surviving R. Kelly the same tape she took made it's way to the Chicago Sun-Times. The tape in question has her on it and cuts to the 14 year old by herself with R. Kelly. My confusion is as to why she would tell the Breakfast Club that she was not on the tape that went to trial question @ 1:37 in this interview...but she admits in Surviving R. Kelly the tape that the Chicago Sun-Times received is what went to trial. 🤔 Am I the only one that noticed that discrepancy?

I remember when this scandal waa surfacing, people were quick to shit on Sparkle saying she was the one behind the tape being leaked cause she fell out with R Kelly over her career......now people calling her a hero for putting her career in jeopardy to get justice for her family.

I just learned her "alleged" identity a few days ago and saw pics of what she allegedly looks like so I wasn't sure even though the evidence is pretty clear. But she confirmed exactly who the girl in the tape was. Just look up the group "4 the cause". smallest and youngest girl in the group with the braids.

This woman claimed that she was trying to save R. KELLY. How is she going to save him when she's not saved her damn self? It's obvious that most of these girls/women were broken before they got with him. They all need to be in therapy including Robert.

The other girl said that if you acted out he would take their phones so you had a phone but you're a slave and he's keeping you from calling your parents looks like most of these girls didn't want to have anything to do with their parents

Everybody out here blaming R. Kelly for everything. Their parents were pimping their daughters out for money. Aaliyah’s parents threw her at him. Most of them took hush money and never spoke about it again. They all enabled him to do what he was doing. They’re ALL at fault!

She was a kid too! Like yes, she may have known the girl was young but it wasn't a big deal for her to assume she was in her age group. And then when she realized how old, she may have felt she was already in it and it was too late. Her thinking wasn't very developed either.

A person don’t have to be shackled down physically but those chain could be emotionally or mentally. I was being abused by my father for 10 years. My mom wouldn’t leave because she too was hurt so that type of crap was almost normal to her. I was free Going back and forth to school, but I wanted out so bad but didn’t know how. So I ran away and they found me and brought me back and it was really worse for me after that. It came to the point that One of us was going to lose our lives but God intervene through a teacher who saw something going on with me(I acted out in school). It moved like clockwork I was out of there and never dealt with my father who later committed suicide. I hurted for him because he was my dad even though he hurt me I was now older to know if he was perfect he wouldn’t done that. I am still affected from my childhood but want to support those still in it not take your life and it’s not your fault. The world’s condition is not how the creator designed it but we have to make the best of it until the change that was promised comes(his spiritual cleansing). Stay in prayer for yourself and others who may battling a disease.

I saw on the news about that mother being kill by her daughters majority were saying it was good that the 14 yr old was being charged as an adult! And some was wanting the 12 yr old charged as an adult, saying they knew right from wrong. But when it comes to R Kelly, teens don’t know any better! I guess I’m confused 🙆‍♂️

im not condoning Kelly behavior, but this woman was 17 years old and admitted to lying and not even asking her mom to come to chicago and if her mom was fighting cancer why u leaving her at this moment.. she was grown and old enough to decide to go chase R Kelly now she to young.. at 17 i was more then capable of making “yes or no” decisions..
