These women all come from reality tv. Then go to a reality tv show for real life issues with a "spiritual dula". Iyanla is very good at what she does. However, these women need professional help with a clinician. Go to a therapist in private. To help you with your real life issues. Their expectations are off. It's a tv show. Of course some of what is going on is playing up to the cameras for ratings. And they do that a little bit while still maintaining Iyanla's integrity as a healer. But make it clear, she is not a psychotherapist. That is what they really need in real life.

Soooo True!!! It's never easy, to face and deal with a deep, hurtful pain...my drug counselor asked me..how you know your daughter still loves you, after all you put her through? I went home and asked her, she was 10 or 11 then, she told me she didn't love me sometimes, I had hurt her!!! She is 26 now and to this day, she does not respect me, loves me, but that pain...it still affects her TODAY
