Vildhjarta is my favorite band of all time and thall is my favorite style of metal, I haven’t found many bands in the “genre” that I like quite as much as Vildhjarta and HLB, but this is def up there with the best thall I ever heard. I’m buying the single right now, and I need more of it. Keep up the great work, thall!!!
I could legit listen to a whole album of that ending riff and things similary. Outstanding storytelling hidden within the music. I cannot wait to here more from this band

Half-stunned by the aforesaid cannonball, Marbot and Lisette are surrounded by Russians, one of whom plunges a bayonet into her thigh. “Her ferocity restored by the pain, she sprang at the Russian and at one mouthful tore off his nose and all the skin of his face, making of him a living deaths head, dripping with blood.” Kicking and biting, Lisette knocks over everyone in her path. This is straight up a horror movie in metal form. Hopeless, terrifying, and bleak. This and Contraste are some of the best thall I've heard second only to the grandpappies themselves. Well done!! :)

@@nothng7853it's even rarer I think to find people who listen to minatory/deathstep. I've only ever met one person in my whole life that I could sit and actually jam out with, and if it wasn't for me, he wouldn't have ever known that deathstep existed. Now he has practically shunned metal itself because it's not as expensive, whereas I keep coming back to metal because I love the real instruments more than their electronic counterparts.
