Same, i dont use it too often, but because i have it i dont even sweat taking off exhaust hangers. makes it cake 🍰

I used that as a parts puller in a scrap yard. It saved me a lot of time under sketchy rigs. Worth the $$$ many times over.

Bro. We all had these years ago... and Don't use anything besides silicone spray or silicone lube otherwise the rubber disintegrates from the oil. 👍

I think every good tech has a pair of them. They do get weak over time and bend but it takes a lot of use to do so.

Sometimes you can’t get those pliers in tight areas so breaking out the pry bar is better. For example the rear muffler hanger on a 2016 dodge Durango 3.6 is tucked up in the rear fascia.

The lisle ones where like 65$ on Amazon Canada but I picked up a pair for 18$ cad that had the same head welds and all but different handles

Do a demonstration with both pins inserted. It doesn't work that well with both pins in the hanger. Especially when the pins are in opposite directions.

Or use wd40 and channel locks since you already should have those at your disposal. No need to waste $ on this thing.

Tool is great until you pinch your finger/hand in the levers but you’ll only do that about once or twice till you understand why it’s happening

Ive always used a shop towel to remove it. Stick it thru the hole and pull to remove rubber hanger.
