... I posted this 2 years ago ... but it's still true today: ... "They All Want You" highlights just how good Lissie is ...not only as a singer, but as a lyricist... along with that golden-throated voice of hers, Lissie's nuanced changes in pronunciation of the same, and similar, words is masterful... powerful juju...
What a great song. I have been listening to Lissie for years.. This is one of my favorites. She should be more popular.. I think she has a poor agent. Thank you and keep em coming Hauskonzerte.
This is a powerful song by a great artist, beautiful pure voice. This is one of those rare songs that can not only bring up memories but remember someone that maybe has been there too. Thank you lissie. come back to the Texas and you have a few tickets already sold.
She is not only a beauty "in her own right". She is a classic, natural, northern beauty. When I first saw a picture of her I thought she would be Scandinavian for sure. Unusual for an American girl maybe, but beautiful by any standard. And the music...
THEALKYLFrom Wikipedia: "Lissie was born Elisabeth Corrin Maurus, and raised in Rock Island, Illinois. Her father is a physician and her mother is an interior designer. She has some Scandinavian ancestry."
O.K., I've been trying to resist going down this road out of fear of seeming obsessed, but since you guys have opened the door: oh, lord, she is breathtakingly beautiful...and it's a very rare kind of beauty, really raw and feral, and yes, very Nordic...it appears that she generally goes without makeup (or almost none -- the only place I've seen her really made up is in the official "Best Days" video, and even there it's only because she's playing characters), and she is, I think, the very rare woman who's more beautiful, more gorgeous, *without* makeup. Her pure, natural, raw beauty, combined with her incredible expressiveness while singing make her, well, insanely alluring. ...Oh, and her songwriting is phenomenal, and her singing is incredibly powerful; soul-stirring, really. If she doesn't become a superstar - the biggest in rock since at least Stevie Nicks or Pat Benatar, or even going back to Joni Mitchell or Janis Joplin -- then there is something really wrong with the world. (And yes, her talent encompasses the disparate styles of all those legends I just mentioned; she is just that phenomenal.)

This song means so much to me. it's like my life til my love passed away.. Kills me he's not here anymore.. LOVE YOU LISSIE you're such an inspiration♡♡
lissie isn't just an artist, that would be such a poor description of a talent that comes naturally. her voice is effortless sublimity. glad I discovered her.? You better believe it.. my heart is a better place now.
Favorite Lissie tune ever! How can you not like her? She's got the rawness in her voice! It's crazy I didn't know about her sooner...she should get much more credit as a songwriter and be played and played on the radio. Beautiful song. Meaningful lyrics. #lovemusic #cansorelate
It has so much meaning behind it. Lissie please forgive me honey if im wrong but i believe this is straight up love making music. So fellas grab your ladies, hold them tightly in your arms then tell that WOMAN how much you truly care and if thats not at all you leave so someone else can claim the prize... LMB Jr.
From my hometown area. Great female voice and perhaps her best song! She called me in the hospital last April and we talked for 5 minutes. I fell in love!!!!! lol
KInda puts production into perspective doesn't it. Lot of artists get themselves put into a lot of externals (some of them have nothing else,) but then this happens for us. Nothing extra, no external noise, just Lissie singing it from the inside; the inside of the song, and the inside of her heart.
EXCELLENT!! absolutely love her voice! ...She's living my dream..everyone told me I had the talent..I just don't have the courage to sing in front of a crowd. I have done it plenty of times,,,think I would be over stage fright by now..People stand up to clap when am finished with the songs...tell me 'I did a great job'... I swear I feel like I am going to pee my pants every time I am on stage. LOVE YOUR MUSIC LISSIE!!! Come back to your home town again ,,real soon. I missed your concert when you were at IWireless..(what was "The Mark") Next time you are back to do another concert..I WILL be there! Lissie..you are GREAT!
