Hi! love your videos. I have a question. What if I want to add the new list in the front, not in the back? How should I do that? can you give some reference? I'd love that
Hey I am developing an app using firebase for my thesis. I need to get the same details (like name, contact number, etc) from firebase to use it in different screens (example: I use it in viewing the user profile and also in the homescreen). Is there anyway to make the variables from firebase global so that I don't have to call the data from firebase every screen? If yes, is it possible for you to make a tutorial about it? I need help :( I feel like calling the data from firebase everytime isn't efficient
Sure you can do that. Probably the easiest method would be to make a call to firebase when your app is loading, then store all that info into an object. You can pass that object to any other screen/component using props. If you check out my latest videos, the todo app, I’m doing something very similar to what you want, using State. State maybe a little overkill, as you’d use that for info that would be changing, but the concept is about that same. I have the full series of that (6 videos) on my Patreon, if you can’t wait for the videos to come out every Saturday on RU-vid.
this.setState is not a function. (In '_this.setState({ addTodoVisible: !_this.state.addTodoVisible })', '_this.setState' is undefined) any solution please
